During next week a static pattern develops where strong high pressure is positioned far enough south for a strong, deep E’ly flow to impact Tasmania.

From next week the trend will be to E/NE swell. This will be generated by the increasing E to E/NE winds in the deep E’ly wind field retrograding S and W towards Southern NSW.
The weekend will have waves, albeit of low quality, as the trough stretches out and SE to E/SE winds feeding into the bottom of the trough are well aimed at NE Tasmania.
The East Coast doesn't look to offer much surf potential this period. Try the South Arm.
Nothing too major but focus on the south swell magnets through the weekend if you're looking for a wave.
S swell generated by the deep parent low then builds later Fri into the 2ft range, extending into Sat before easing.
N’ly winds do perk up off the South Coast and into Bass Strait later Sun, which should see NE windswell lift into the 3ft range later Sun.
The weekend isn’t looking great with a small mixed bag of 1-2ft surf both days, lifting a notch Sun a’noon as NE wind swell builds in under freshening N’ly winds.
There's a good mix of easterly swells on the way for the coast, cleanest as it peaks and fun while it eases.
While this swell is aimed at NSW, the fetch continues to dip south as it weakens, eventually reaching the Eastern Tas swell window later Mon.
