I'm actually quite impressed anyone with more than 3 co-morbidities can survive - must be a huge drain on the health system (but that is what it's there for).

Monkeyboy, The Guardian running an article suggesting that the UK can’t vaccinate its way out of their problem is quite a break from their usual position.
To be honest, we’re not far behind here in Australia.
The irony of the slow vaccine roll out was that it placed us just about maximally vaccinated for the arrival of Omicron.
Unfortunately, the vaccines don’t appear to work much beyond 6 months (maybe 4?) and also appear to be less effective against Omicron.
The government, quite logically, assumed that with 90+% of the adults vaccinated as a society we would be protected in a traditional “herd immunity” sense.
The vaccines may have delayed the overwhelming of the health system but appear not to have prevented it fully.
In essence, the governments have been let down by the short effectiveness and lack of efficacy against Omicron of the vaccines.

Options from here include further harsh lockdowns or as the Guardian article suggests, treating it like the flu.
Or heaven forbid encouraging more early at home treatments in order to prevent escalation of the disease and therefore reduce hospitalisations. This last option has been rarely talked about so far but I think it’s time to seriously consider it

Yes, absolutely right. The conversation is changing in the UK. It has to.

I don’t think it means much. The vaccine passports are the underlying issue and the motivation for the unnecessary blanket application of the vaccines in the first place.

More shots aren’t needed. Not saying they won’t occur….too much money being made to believe that.

Just curious why the pro-Vaxers don’t condemn the experts when they kept saying the vax stops transmission.

@tylerdurden I get vaccinated against the flu every year. You can clearly see which strains are covered each year. More info on:

https://www.tga.gov.au/alert/2021-seasonal-influenza-vaccines

Something similar will probably be with Covid and vaccines will have to be continuously improved to capture most (current) strains. I'm happy with that outcome but currently, we are still caught behind as new Covid strains are outpacing us while we are arguing whether to vaccinate or not.

No doubt flollo. We’re stuck with what we’ve got. Maybe they’ll tailor the vaccines to each strain but in the meantime preventing hospitalisations has to be the main priority in my opinion. You can do that via lockdowns and mass self isolation when each individual tests positive or you can institute an aggressive early treatment program. In my opinion, there’s a lot of room for improvement in our current at-home treatment program

@follo , this is why I wish the TGA would hurry up and approve Petrovsky vaccine, he has made a vaccine for each varient so far and is currently doing one for omicron , if it’s going to be treated as the flu with more strains to come his is the type of vaccine we should be aiming for given it’s safer than mRNA and can be easily tweaked .

Then they'd have to admit they got sucked in, just had a guy come around to do a job, he said I don't want it I only had my booster yesterday lol, I said mate I know 4 nurses off with it that have had all 3 jabs. Also said he won't sit in a restaurant with other people, must be terrible having had 3 jabs and still scared.

So apparently the Hillsong church have lots of RATs.
This shit is getting way out of hand.
The general public are scrambling for tests and begging for them off friends and neighbours, while Scumo's peniticostal mate Brian the pedo protector Houston is flogging them off for profit.
More fuel has just been added to the dumpster fire that is the LNP government.

Mass Vax Hospital Crisis sees Qld Govt further water down world's 1st Frontline Vax Mandate.

Changes, timed with new CHO reinforcing the frontline (vs) Qld's Mass invitation of VIP infections.
16th Dec Qld Health raced to strengthen exemptions & hurriedly recalled unvaccinated Health Workers.
https://www.health.qld.gov.au/system-governance/legislation/cho-public-h...

Vax "Exceptions" have long existed Ozwide but are being reshaped amidst Qld Covid / Vax crisis.
Main goal is to reenlist near healthy Mass Unvaxed Frontline to care for Mass Vaxed infected Patients
All must play their part in an emergency as emergency patients accept emergency care. All say Aye!

Possibly for the first time we see Human Spirit triumph & kick the shit outta measly girly Mandates.
Return to normality for 3 months maybe! After Hesitants save VIP arses...PM will punish them! Promise!

Wotz New in Medical Exemptions...

*Medical Contraindication (Worldly Temp Vax exemption for being ill / feeling sick at time of Vax)
eg: Oz Hospitals exclude XXX risk Surgery ( X 55+ XOverweight XCPAP XSmoker XDrugs ) XXX = No.
Healthcare Staff are more likely female with Stress / Weight / Sleep / Reproduction Contraindications
Compliance : [ Access the Risk to all in Health Setting ] + PPE Covid Safe + [ Pre : Daily PCR Tests ]
Review : Specified time due to nature of ailment. (eg: Flu / Bleeding or worsening Gastro Issues )

*Participation in a Covid -19 Vaccine Trial (tbb championed this cause with Qld Health months ago)
TGA approved Trial + Notification of Trial Start / End
Compliance [ Access the Risk to all in Health setting ] etc...

14th Sept tbb (Read more on Future Oz Trials here) https://www.swellnet.com/comment/761303

[No Jab > No Pay] Religious exemption end > Immaculate conception of ungodly rugratz Clinical Trials.
No! Nothing serious...just poke yer tongue out...here's yer lolly & here's yer Mum's Food Stamp.

https://www.unimelb.edu.au/coronavirus/vaccination-at-unimelb/general-fa...
Dan/Dag "We Decide which rich fat bastard's brat get's a Medical Exemption & what the going price is."

*Critical Workforce Shortage
A responsible person believes it is necessary to respond to critical workforce shortage.
Compliance : [ Access the Risk to all in Health Setting ] + PPE Covid Safe + [ pre: Daily PCR Tests ]
Review : 3 months or until worsening Mad Mass Rollout Crisis frees our Frontline Staff.

*Critical Support Needs (Extends from above!) eg: Age / Disabled Care + Prison Covid Outbreaks

*Emergency Entry to High Risk Settings (No issues with priority unvaxed SES / SLSQ volunteers)
Respond / Provide / Undertake Functions / Union Duties.
Important ! Not restricted to Frontline > eg: Unvaxed > Plumber / Enviro Officer in Outbreak / Firefighter.

*Entry to High Risk Setting for Law Enforcement (Keys to the City for Top Brass)
Priority Clearance ...No Vax I.D required + No Testing "Details" shall be sought in relation...!

*High Risk Settings-All Govt Health / Police / Education / Trades + Airports are Co/No Vax Work Places.
After/Schools / Kindy / Camps / Prisons / Detention / Watch Houses
Airport Staff (No Vax) All Terminals > Taxis [P] > Businesses > Rentals > Cafes > Hotels
Qld Uni has almost complete unvaxed utility access (Just the one VIP Coffee Shop - food court is fine!)
https://about.uq.edu.au/coronavirus/health-advice

Covid of Concern : Children / Unvaxed Videohealth (Comorb') > At Risk Group > Hospital
https://telehealth.health.qld.gov.au/webapp/home
Care at Home : Vaxed Telehealth > 65+ Videohealth (Comorb') > At risk Group > Hospital

Hospital Exemption (Changes)
States are now exempting unvaxed for inclusion in Homecare treatment (Previously strictly Vaxed only)
Biggest change is State Health advising un/vaxed all to pop a panadol, an icy-pole & have a lie down.
3/4th Jan Home care 98.53%...kinda flies in the face of oldschool Biosecurity Health Emergency!

Hospital > No vax 3rd Jan 26% down to 4th Jan 21% (Innate Immunity is defeating 'varied' Omicron)
For that earth shattering achievement...unvaxed are benched...where they can't lower Oz Covid rates?

Hospital > Vaxed 3rd Jan 73.5% rises to 4th Jan 79% (Wuhan Flu Cough Drops loses it's flavour!)
Govt rewards these 3x WR (Now more deadly) VIP super spreaders the keys to the State = WR covid!
Shh! We know! It's all back 2 front...but they're the Experts...so, suck it up!

Qld ( ICU ) ABC reported select days only > 31st Dec (2022) 2/ 7/ 11th Jan > unvaxed 8 (vs) vaxed 12.
New CHO hones in on slightest unvaxed regional bump to pump his "Crazy unvaxed People" hit single.
ICU Vax data is preserved on Old People's broken records..^..records..^..records...goes on & on & on!

2,138 Vaxed staff infected + 2,715 in isolation.
Unvaxed frontline were given the opportunity to step up & are caring for rising Vaxed patients.
Unvaxed are supplying 5% extra beds/day + steppin' up Peak covid to treat WR VIP infectious bratpack.
This accords with NSW unvaxed 55% monthly Hospital savings mid Pandamic peak...good stuff!

* tbb salutes fellow unvaxed Qldurrz leading from the front scaling the peak as the going gets tough.
All the while ... $Gazillion Vaxerz collapse in a heap more so each day...unvaxed can help some more.
If VIP Bullies can just say one nice word...then yer worst nightmare comes to an end!

Govt now advocate All Access frontline / Entry Jobz & DIY icy poles & cough lollies...
Qld Govt' Frontline Covid Health Policy now has precious little time & place for redundant Vax Rollout.
tbb is waving the White > Yellow > Checkered Flags to stop the Vax race so no more can get hurt!

Grom: "Mummy! Why did the UN place Hesitants on the endangered Fauna list!"
Mum: "Just shut up kid & slobber down yer 2'3'4 is it 4 already Vax Bix...* Cough ** * Grrr!"
Goin' thru the Motions

Vax n chill, exactly what most people I know are doing, this doctor really nails it.
As he says at about 9mins 40secs the data is showing 90% of deaths are in the unvaccinated, a fact some of the nut jobs on here refuse to believe. All the hysteria and fear mongering over a few dead spike proteins in the jab and they call us deranged. Cheers.

Old-dog, you’re not known for posting correct figures and I can guarantee that this is also not correct.

If you’re going to post something this outrageous (90% deaths unvaxxed) at least try and back it up with some credible stats

Old-dog, I’m guessing you’re in SA.

Here is every media release. Have a read for yourself.

https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/public+content/sa+health+...

Here is todays:

There are 211 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 22 people in ICU and four requiring a ventilator. Of the people hospitalised, 124 are fully vaccinated, 19 are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 68 have an unknown vaccination status.

211 hospitalisations with 124 fully vaxxed and 19 unvaxxed or partial.

So correct me if I’m wrong but the percentage of unvaxxed in hospital is just over 9% of the total hospitalisations in SA?

Wonder why they don’t announce this at the daily press release

"Stop the fear now"? By the same bloke who posted a report about vaccines affecting menstrual cycles? Calm down, if you bothered to read through, the differences are within normal variance and your period will be quickly back to normal.

Just wondering if you traveled to the future to know this? Or you still trusting the experts. The same experts that said the vax stops the spread

We know a lady in her 50’s who got her period back again after the vax.
