The predominant swell direction over the coming days will favour the open beaches, providing a peak in size on the weekend. Winds should be light/variable most mornings, with the exception of Saturday which is expected to be under a southerly airflow. Saturday will also see the peak in swell, so hit up a protected southern corner.

Open beaches have a good looking little NE swell on the cards for Tuesday morning, fading thereafter. The effects of a long range, but inconsistent E/NE swell should then come into play from the end of the week, and across the weekend. Winds aren't looking too promising for the weekend at this stage.
We are in for a slow week ahead, with only small options at exposed location. A NE windswell is on the cards for Tuesday at open beaches, but the wind pattern could go either way.
Open beaches are looking small clean peaks of a northeasterly swell, however the outlook is pretty dormant after that. Mid-way through next week holds prospects for another northeasterly swell.
The next few days are looking good in terms of surf, with modest but workable southerly groundswells continuing to fill in under a generally westerly airflow.
Strong S'ly groundswell pulses from Sunday, continuing through most of next week with favourable winds.
The later stages of the weekend and early next week have good potential with fresh southerly swell under persistent westerly breezes.
A southerly gruondswell is likely to fill in on Tuesday, however only the most exposed south swell magnets will see the size. Breezes look to be light and offshore each morning leading to plenty of options for a small but workable wave.
Today's swell will ease across all coasts, while a short range southerly swell will also be providing options for south facing beaches. Light offshore breezes are forecast for both mornings of the weekend. Hit it early for the best results.
Friday is looking good for a wave at protected southern corners of open beaches. The surf should be in the 3-4ft range off the back side of a solid NE swell. Brisk southelry breezes will be moving up the coast, so protection is key.
