That is a really interesting read Ben, those guys in tactical gear looked prepared for a hostage siege to me. It could have been a lot worse than it was.

With all the chaos Antifa have caused this year and how motivated and persistent they are you would think it would be the perfect opportunity to causes more chaos, would only need one Antifa member to go in as a Trump supporter and smash the first window or even just egg on a real Trump extremest, once that ball starts rolling mob mentality would take over. (brands and gear etc, obviously they would be smart enough to appear to be 100% trump supporters)

Looking at some of the footage from Bens links, why do security guards just let people wander in, and they literally do just wander in quite orderly like?
Doesn't seem to be any type of resistance at that stage, but then why does it go from that type of situation to an unarmed women being shot dead from about 2 metres away?
Not saying this supports any theory either way, but it is a bit confusing.
Of the 5 people dead, 1 was the unarmed woman shot in udo's vid, 1 bloke had a stroke, 1 had a heart attack, 1 was trampled by the crowd, and not sure on the 5th. it's hardly a bunch of "well organised malitia"
Just a random little tidbit.
When visiting Alaska back in March 2017, my mates and I were in the supermarket grabbing food for a trip and this older man approached us, as we stood out like dogballs from not being from the area. Asked what we were up to etc, said fine young fit fellows etc.
All nice and then he started talking about Trump etc and going into a sort of rant/dribble, saying when the day comes he's ready to head down state, armed, to fight for the revolution when Trump signalled. Seeing as he could have been carrying right then we stayed polite then let him go on his way.
It was a little unnerving, but these are the people that are easily influenced and ready to fight and go whenever called upon.
Indo, you reckon there were ‘agents provocateurs’ from the Left / Antifa at the Capitol? I can’t remember your stance on the alleged role of certain RW groups during the BLM riots (yes, they were riots). In particular there was ‘umbrella guy’. In this case it’s a plausible scenario, but tbh I don’t think it was needed. Sections of the crowd seemed intentioned to do what they did regardless.
Going back to the woman shot in the Capitol - notice how no one else went through that window after that? Seemed to meet the objective of keeping people out of that section of the building. My guess is, as I’ve said above, that that was a ‘no go’ zone as far as security were concerned, at least for a period - likely while they were moving people to safety.
A more robust response to the initial attempts to breach the barricades, climb the walls and break in would have prevented a lot of this. I think the reason for this is more cockup than conspiracy.
I can't see 'unity' happening in the US anytime soon. The Babylon Bee thinks there might be a chance though..
