How do you post photos on here?
I mean actual images and not just a link.
Easy as.
Give us some details Guy, that's a ripper.
As you wish.
This one's in FNQ.
Loaded up the boat and did a solo trip for a couple of days - walking, crabbing, fishing , spearing.
Was heading out to check the crab pots one morning and saw this in front of me.
This one's a fave too but obviously not in Australia.
Don't encourage me Guy, I'll put em up all night.
Love photos.
Very nice.
Beautiful guys.. Love photography as you all know.
Here's one from last year. A southerly buster moving through when Sydney was under smoke and dust haze. I like the perceived movement in this one.
That's a trip Andy, and loved the first photo Guy of the P and that's lush that last one!
Give us a clue Gary.
North of Sydney?
That would be cool, Goofy. Have to check that out one day.
GaryG1412......there are great waves in that region . My favourite part of the state. I seriously considered moving there for a while.
Blackers ......from a boat ? Always a pleasure being in the water when it’s glassy like that.
Once in a lifetime bucket list stuff
Any Rhino pics from your safari, goofy? Pretty much my favourite animal (after Vizslas, of course).
Thanks, Goofy!
Beautiful images fellas.

Dolomites NE Italy
Wow that's magic CMC.
You should be able to put up images using this site - https://imgbb.com
Wow, beautiful shots.
I'm no photographer, but thought I'd share a couple of things anyway...
The old man at the old local, back in the 70s, before boogers were invented and overran the place (sh*tty quality photo of my TV screen playing "A Winter's Tale" - thanks to Stu for helping me track it down):
My other passion in life is riding fast motorcycles
I did a trip with a few mates in the Dolomites back in 2018 and that photo is Lago Di Briars (Briars Lake) near Cortina in NE Italy.
I was all paid up ready to go in June this year but have had to cancel
Some sick shots .
Keep them coming.
CMC. ....Is that water cold ?
I’d swim in that all day.
Blowin that was mid June so its the run off from the snow melting from up high, water was icy.
Spewing....looks very nice though.
I went through the gopro thing 5 years ago, sorry but I’m guilty.
Anyway here’s a clip I made with it that has some surf photos in it as well
So once you've got a photo in your imgbb account, how do you transfer it into the comment section here?
Ringmaster press the copy button on imagebb and then once you’re on swellnet paste it
I took that picture of Mundaka on a cold February morning in 93'. It had been offshore but nearly flat for a few days and on this morning I woke up and looked out the window to see corduroy all the way out to Izaro (the island). Suited up in the apartment and bolted down to the harbour to see nobody in the water.
I surfed that for 1 hour before anybody else came out and was driving to Gernika a few hours later when I pulled over and took the pic. The crowd got to about 15 or 16 in the 4 odd hours I was out there (2 hours either side of low) and still one of the most memorable surfs of my life.
Thanks GF
Great photos and stories.
The Mundaka lineup is very impressive.
GuySmiley ...South coast shot is beautiful. Mind if I overlay a bit of backstory ?
Is it just me or does it look like the horse in the photo was formerly pristine white until someone flung shit at it ? A few large handfuls of fresh dung and the poor thing looks like it’s bolted to the far side of the paddock. Now it’s turning a wary eye towards the gate , torn betwixt shame and indignation, wondering if GuySmiley has returned to continue the shit slinging assault.
Poor poo covered horsey.
Scouting for waves a long way off the WA coast whilst shooting Storm Surfers 3D, back in 2011.
Ben.....my Guess....south / south west in the AM with a west and a south south west swell in the water ? North west wind ?
In semi lockdown I'm finally sorting through a lifetime of photos and inspired by what Craig and Andy recently posted I thought why not.
We travel a fair bit and there has to be some crackers in the vaults.
Good if we follow the Swellnet tradition of not naming or being too obvious.
