A trough moving north from a position east of Tasmania brings a renewal of the S’ly pattern into Fri but not extending into the Coral Sea due to another troughy area in the Northern Tasman which confines E’ly winds to below the CQ swell window.

Not a great deal of change since Mon with a slow moving, weakening high in the Tasman, and a coastal trough off the QLD Coast (responsible for hundreds of mm of rainfall) now moving away and dissipating. Conditions will be windy but favourable over the coming days with some fun swell on the cards. To the north it'll be small to tiny.
