I left home at 16 he was 39 then.When he was 40 he became a Christian and never touched grog again, he’s 83 now and I would say he’s my best mate believe it or not. He lives 5 hours away but we talk or message every day. He has been the best loving/ generous father, grandfather ever since.
My wife knows but have never told my kids as don’t want to tarnish their view on him.
So people can change and people can forgive.Sorry if I have offended you SR.

Thanks, my brother didn’t fair as well, drug/alcohol/gambling addicted, married 3 times, lost everything, living in a van now a half way house if that’s what they are called now, been in rehab and Seems to be coming good now, spoke to him today.

It doesn’t matter if it was one or five demands, Albo is not in a position to unilaterally agree to anything. Also, there is not a politician on the planet who would agree to Williams’ conditions. You can argue who said what but Albo could have turned around and said something like “Sarah tried to coerce me into meeting her demands in order to speak…….”, and hung her out to dry. But on the spur of the moment, he chose a more diplomatic response.
Don’t forget, this was after Williams had intimidated Albo by publicly pressuring him to meet her demands. By not responding immediately, he was then heckled and urged to reply. He then asked Williams if she wanted him to speak and she handed him the microphone. He was in a no-win situation but still attempted to set out what the government had done and its plans for the future.
If Albo had declined to attend, he would have been persecuted. In my opinion he has the courage to stand up, state his case and be heard. It’s noteworthy that not one Coalition member was present. Obviously, they don’t care.
Still, the Rabid Right media presented it in a way to discredit Albo.
And have a listen to Williams demands especially in light of the “Freedom of Speech” issue with Musk.

His statement "Do you want me to speak or not. I am the Prime Minister", was not condescending at all, or offensive. Nor was his behaviour "not a good look".
