Amount of outrage and online engagment determines success of a particular campaign. Unfortunately, these are the times we live in. Looking at it from that perspective, Trump killed it with Maccas as everyone still talks about it. This will energise even more people to go out and vote. Ultimately, turnout is what it's all about. This is why both sides accuse the other for 'the end of the world'. Better get out there and vote otherwise 'they' will ruin the country.

Sadly true. Even more of a concern is that it could easily come down to the turn out in a couple of the swing states, given the rusted-on nature of many of the electorates and their Electoral College voting mechanisms. Nate Silver does a great breakdown over on the Leading podcast.
