Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Wednesday 10th August)

Best Days: No good days, check South Arm forecast

Recap

A mix of leftover E'ly and building N/NE windswell yesterday, with the windswell peaking this morning to 2-3ft under offshore NW winds. The swell will ease off through the day with the offshore change, so make the most of it.

This week and weekend (Aug 11 - 14)

There isn't expected to be any swell leftover tomorrow morning from the N/NE, as the fetch generating this swell was pushed off to the east early this morning.

Unfortunately there's nothing else to really talk about regarding our swell potential this week or weekend.

A small fetch of strong SE winds west of New Zealand's North Island is aimed away from us and isn't likely to generate anything above 1ft, if that Friday and Saturday morning.

Into next week there's no end in sight to the lack of surf, but check back here Friday for any change to the outlook.
