The end of the week is looking pretty small, however the weekend should see more size out of the south. This should then be followed by small, peaky A-frames of a NE windswell on Monday morning across the open beaches.

Southerly energy is likely to fade throughout Thursday form the 3-4ft range, although the quality of the surf won't be anything to get excited about. For the remainder of the forecast period, easterly trade-swell will be the dominant source of energy. Morning's variable/offshore breezes hold the best opportunity for a wave.

The swell direction for the coming week will be out of the E/NE so open beaches will be the pick for the most size. Seabreezes are likely each afternoon, so hit it early for the best conditions. Keep in mind, the source of this swell is quite long range, so consistency is likely to be lacking.

The prospects of surf are pretty underwhelming for the remainder of this week, however better indications are on the cards for the weekend and next week. Monday should see S'ly groundswell build to the 3-4ft mark, with a second pulse on Tuesday.
