Flukey north-east swell
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 9th June)
Best Days: No good days
Recap
Nothing to really surf the last couple of days.
This week and weekend (June 10 - 16)
Looking at the coming forecast period and we're really only relying on the flukey NE swell from a weak low sitting off the southern NSW coast.
This low has been generating 3-4ft surf for the Sydney region, but this becomes smaller the further south you go, and into the weekend we're only due to see very inconsistent 1ft to occasionally 2ft sets at north-east magnets.
Conditions will be clean though, so if you're looking for a wave, try the magnets.
Some small S'ly pulses are showing on the charts, but the fronts generating these swells are too zonal in nature to generate any size for us at all.
Longer term we may see the Southern Ocean generate more significant swell energy in our swell window early the week of the 19th, but we'll have a closer look at this Monday. Have a great weekend!
