Best of 2016
2016 was a year of contrasts and firsts.
Early in the New Year a couple of large easterly groundswellls lit up most of the East Coast beaches, reefs and points, while a slow autumn gave way to a great winter, championed by the unprecedented Black Nor'Easter swell event.
Spring was consistent and fun with persistent southerly swell pulses, while we've ended the year with a typical summer dose of north-easterly windswell.

Great photos.
How beautiful is Australia people.
Here's QLD mid June to December 2016...
Noice, Craig.
Now send me some swell! :-)
Also a fine summary Sprout. I don't know how they survive the long in-betweens up there, and then when it gets good everyone is on it.
Let's do better in the year ahead, damned well going to try.
Thank you, Craig! Fine work. I can report that Vietnam had nothing on Australia this year, as usual.
We're pretty damn lucky! Good to see a bit of WA in the mix!
Cheers Craig, great shots. You scored nicely.
Didn't see any WA though.
Thanks guys, yeah and no WA sorry Nicko :p
Did I say WA....my mistake
Bloody great place this, Aus. And to know there is so much more.
