Several hours after leaving messages on gumtree and phone, no response. The board is still listed, so I'm guessing it's a scam...Maybe a deposit to hold and then no more contact?

yeah beware, max wax got scammed on gumtree buying some fins. then scammers attempted to scam further with more BS

Sorry to disappoint fellas, but I'd bank on that being a scam. Saw something similar (recycled photos, bullshit story) while living in Spain. Of all things, a Ziegler single fin advertised in Barcelona. Bit of searching revealed the photos were ripped from a gumtree ad in Moruya or Narooma (can't remember).

Hi guys be careful of getting scammed on gumtree, I tried to buy some Danny fuller fins and got done hahaha. This guy William had all these photos of the fins, I even cross checked that they weren’t from google images….
Seemed genuine and as soon as I sent the money he ghosted me.
Watch out.

I've been offline for a couple of days- checked messages - no reply from this guy and board now shows up as sold.

looks the goods although the 6'4 - 6'6 size was just in the sweet spot for me. That black Apache was the best surfboard Ive ever had I reckon. Need to get someone to shape me a clone.
