How do you factor freedom of speech into your equation of undermining democracy VL. I would argue that freedom of speech, along with the presumption of innocence are the cornerstones of democracy. The DNC has shown far more contempt, IN MY OPINION, for these institutions, than anything trump has done. This makes them, again in my opinion, the more authoritarian party this time around. Which is why I currently hate them.
I really hope they lose and actually consider why they lost, not like the last four years which they wasted in a semi crazed state attacking anything Trump does like a bunch of deranged freaks, instead of doing their job - building a party with a clear vision to inspire citizens to vote for them. The Biden campaign is 100% shady fear mongering. Then, perhaps in 2024 the DNC might actually have their game together enough to get people like me, who are not loyal to a left/right party, to vote for them.
I personally would like to see Tulsi Gabbard as the US president, She’s a democrat, very strong character, military doctor, anti regime change war, performed very well in the DNC primary’s, where she also ripped Kamala Harris (who I can’t stand) a new one, and has somehow managed to keep herself clean of the grime covering most of the rest of the DNC establishment, which is why she isn’t on the ticket with Bernie Sanders IMO, not grimey enough.
