Yeah I think I missed parade every day in grade 12
…. you had it easy as a lad, I lived in pit, up at 3 to haul the coal until 5, help ma feed the pigs, chop wood until 6, a quick surf to wash off the grime and then a 10km run to school ….. aye, but I had easy compared to some

When my wife first came over from an unnamed Asian country ,you have to use your imagination there.
We moved from Snapper to Kingscliff to the York peninsula to Port Lincoln to Ballina to Lennox to Maroochydore to Warnambool to snapper and to Tassy every 6 months when the leases finished, so I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on much, living in a tourist city at the moment.
Thats actually pretty cool.
So which location did you like the best for surfing and other.?
Please give us a short thought on each location lived.

unreal version! tim brooke-taylor, marty feldman.. the pace is unreal, and repeating lines over laughter, etc. rather than rattling it off like the famous recordings from hollywood bowl/drury lane or wherever..
@ Indo dreaming
Yeah it was pretty cool
Probably why my ex got her own place in Brisbane though lol
The best location for surfing and the other? Definitely the unnamed SE Asian country, for surfing and the other,
Reefs , river mouths, beaches , and no surfers 95 percent of the time
Snapper- Greenmount crowded , but always the chancy to get world class waves
Kingscliff can get good, less crowded, different options.
Yoke peninsula some great reef breaks , can get crowded but also uncrowded, different options, picks up swell
Port Lincoln not that many options, but consistent reefs
uncrowded , can make drive to west Eyre Penisula
Ballina / Lennox , consistent, different options, world class waves, drive to Byron etc , probably getting crowded now ,
Maroochydore, good beach breaks, different wind and swell options, Alex ,Pt Cartwright, drive to Noosa, not that consistent, but ok
Warrnambool, didn’t really get it that good, didn’t really know where to go , didn’t get Portland , bit cold and big
Tassy definitely gets uncrowded quality , in the right conditions, and take a drive, bit cold but scenic places.
Probably the best places for surfing
Tasty for less crowds
Ballina for consistent quality waves

Just to clarify @PD, are you still banging on about 1982 or is that @sippy now ^^? Bahahaha
authoritarian left celebrates...
Hey Smiley
I am not even sure what day it is , but get a creepy feeling about 1984 2 :)) !
Hopefully we are in 82 and can stop an 84 Orwellian nightmare , from happening ?
I am way 2 old 4 all this sneaky spy , big brother Stuff .
Cultural Enlightenment , it's not , cultural Censorship , it is .
Telegrams platform is encrypted and secure , Everyone , including Politicians , Military , and organised crime , use it , just like they use Twitter !
Please convince me , that I'm in a Deep State of paranoia .
The US are getting 87000 new IRS Agents , that sounds a lot .
If Australia employs 5000 , that's way 2 many , 4 normal stuff .
Please enlighten me , with WTF is going on , then .
Cheers !
Durov travelled to France knowing that he had an arrest warrant there.
Maybe think about this a little deeper with those big non-MSM corrupted brains!
can anyone translate just wtf PD is on about? at any time?
That is interesting information Etarip !
My non MSM site mentioned nothing about Durov , Giving himself up .
I checked a bit of MSM and nada , but the Gallagher brothers have broken their feud and will get back together .
That's a Wonder , Wall event .
Geez from internet grifter to unhinged billionaire media barons @sippy is here to tirelessly defend their right to say and do whatever they like all in his war against the real woke enemy.

Thanks for the reply.
Pretty much what i expected.
Ive lived Phillip Island, NW Tassie, Sydney, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast (both ends), Fraser Island, but use to go down to Kingscliff a bit when lived on the goldie and spent months on end living in vans when young mostly around Mid to North Coast NSW.
Next move i think will be somewhere warmer that's at least 3hrs from a major city , ideally somewhere with a low population 5,000 or less, that even if doesn't have great consistency has a wave or two that does get epic.
2.45 min mark ;)

not that simple frownyman...
I'm just here to point out your ridiculous bias, hypocrisy, inherently dangerous censorious perpetually triggered nature...
and how you'll enthusiastically suck up all sorts of crap from your preferred billionaires... but then get all high and mighty (and triggered beyond belief...) about others...
the only standards you have, are double standards...
but onward in your righteous journey, disciple...

No weirder than Opti wanting Christian Nationalist States and anyone who doesn’t like it can move.
Half of Africa and South America , already want 2 move to Christian Nation States , seeds .
They do seem 2B very attractive , 2 people of all races and religions .
Not seeing many going out !
Is that weird , or just my Opti , being out ?
Yes Pop D but they aren’t moving here because we think the earth is 6000 years old. They’re coming for an economically better life.
If it came to pass here you may be made to leave Victoria and come live with us heathens up here.
At least we wouldn’t teach your grandchildren creationism.
There’s people of faith and there’s nutters.
bottom line is, people live, move, and align with culture they feel comfortable with / in...
antifa clowns are more dogmatic, righteous, (religious), and authoritarian than the worst of christian proselytisers...
you cannot make people conform to your radicalism
or more importantly, the state should not ever force conformity...
clowns like the frown, love to force their world view on people, and cheer on the government whenever they endeavour to do so...
'live and let live'
was once the very basis of 'western liberalism'
now, not so much...
not only is it an ideal, it's seems to work as a core base for a system that has been very successful
it encourages, free thought, creativity, and innovation...
whilst simultaneously giving the bottom feeders the feeling of freedom and relative empowerment
communist countries simply waste too many resources enforcing compliance. state resources...
but also human, physical, and $$$... but probably most importantly, by stifling their populations...
the success of western society is an ages old debate, even within, with arguments like 'the protestant work ethic' taking prominence..
it's interesting, because even non communist, 'free societies' like Japan seem limited by what they can innovate... they are excellent developers and honers of technology, but seem limited in terms of innovation...
seems the very asian virtue of conformity, and the importance of the group over individualism, has inhibiting outcomes... because they most certainly have the work ethic...
western culture is unique in many ways, good and bad...
those seeking to shut down all that has fostered it's 'advanced' standing, should take a cold hard look at themselves...
As a bit of a nutter with no faith , I can C that places that seem , settled and safe , offer a better life , seeds .
We are very lucky :) !!!
I know I would B lucky to live in a community , that has seedy types Living and AW types , visiting !
You sure could teach me , a good thing or 2 , that I sure would pass on , to my Grandchildren , if I C them :) !
Edit
Well said Sykpan !!!
As U said , even the Japanese ( Group thinking ) , are not good at innovation !

thinking of the roe v wade arguments a few pages back...
dunno it it's still the case, but when I lived on the goldy, was a bit of running joke that women had to go 'south of the border' for certain services
personally I think roe v wade is a load of partisan hyperbole, blown way out of proportion....
nothing wrong with local laws for local populations in countries as big and diverse as the US and oz
one could argue, that's democracy at work
@Indo- dreaming
More evidence of extreme wokism for @sippy to get all hot and bothered about
https://www.theage.com.au/politics/federal/extremist-influencer-defies-c...
You are right Smiley , it is Extreme Wokism , in our own Back Yard !
Bourke has said HE will personally , Stamp her application .
Candice doesn't seem like someone that should be banned from visiting and speaking , in Australia .
She might be President , 1 day .
Like wanting 2 ban Geet Wilders and then he becomes leader of the Netherlands .
What are they scared of , another view , it seems .
Freedom of Speech is topic of the day !

That’s the good thing about Oz travel
Just fill up at the servo , and drive off !
Birdsville was 38c yesterday in winter,
And we’re debating that we don’t have enough right wing ideology in Australia?
Maybe she should go and stay in Birdsville without aircon for a few weeks.
We’ll see how strong her ideology is then
Obviously we can explain away 38c in winter as bloody wokism !
Haha. But no, Albosleeeezy did it.
What are you doing for a crust Juliang that allows this journeyman life?

I really miss it, but it went missing at the Tiree Music Festival.
(sorry if it seemed a random post, I deleted something redundant)
@ seeds , well obviously i don’t travel all the time , like some of these damn bloggers ,
Indo , Australia, Indo, Mexico , Brazil , Namibia,
But yeah seasonal work is a good way to travel around
Nice.
You could have just said International Man of Mystery Fruit Picker
Good luck to ya!
Edit… you obviously don’t need luck, you’re living a great life by the sounds of it.

Not so much international, though lol
@ Tubeshooter
Yeah EVs haven’t been around that long, but there’s not always places to charge them . Don’t know if you could charge one at Gnarloo or Cactus,
But they would be ideal if you could

Don’t know when that was. You must be old. (joking)
A person I know;) had one in the early ‘90s at Greenslopes.
On the notion of local laws for local people that sounds horrendous. Sounds like Jim Crow era stuff
