There is roughly 240 kidnapped but Hamas claims not to have that many, i cant remember the figure but its a fair bit less like 200 or so.
They suspect either other terrorist groups in Gaza like Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and ISIS-Sinai Province or individuals have them.

We sure didn't see the same people jumping in claiming there was no evidence the strike on the Hospital was Israel, and that the Gaza health department run by Hamas claims of 500 dead had any substance.
But we soon learnt that the blast site was a foot or so ditch in the paving of the carpark and clearly not an IDF missle blast strike and the damage from blast would be lucky to take out a dozen people, even nearby car windows stayed intake

Link doesn't work, Israel and IDF aren't perfect and nobody is trying to claim they are but there is absolutely No comparison to Hamas, Israel do their best to abide by rules of war where possible and even have legal advisors who advise on what they can and cant do and even legality of targets and soldiers caught doing things like shooting a kid can be held accountable even in a court of law similar to how most developed countries systems work, its the total opposite with Hamas (who are also the government) where civilians are true target's and rules of war are not there to be abided by but there to be exploited to create a disadvantage to their enemy, making it virtually impossible for Israel to fight a war without a high civilian death count.
If the military force between the two countries was switched and Israel used civilians as human shield's, it would be a complete waste of time, those targets would be the first hit.
The thing many tend to forget is even outside of so called times of war Israel are constantly trying to deal with neighbours that want to kill them and Hamas even has had a charter that says they want to kill all Jews, if it wasn't for the Iron dome Israel would be screwed, 99% of the time all Israel do is sit there defending themselves with the Iron dome and other system's, until they finally go, sorry the line is crossed we need to do something about this, and then when they do, people like you lose their shit and cant understand the basic principle that the only way to break the cycle is to destroy Hamas or at the very least get them out of government and severally weaken them as a group.
If you were going to put things on a scale of 1 to 10 with one being best and ten being the worst in the world, despite no army being perfect and having issue's the USA and its allies would still be ahead of everyone else and set the scale at 1, Israel at say a 3, and groups like ISIS & Hamas at 9 to 10.
In regard to the differences in government/society while Israel and its government aren't without flaws, sure its not a perfect democracy its still a democracy a very rare thing in the middle east, with standards and goals similar to other democratic developed countries, its population is a mix of different ethnicities and religions that despite clear issue's actually still works, its a country where group's like Gays can live openly, same sex marriage while not legal to conduct is still recognised if married elsewhere, simple things like cohabitation between any sexes is accepted another very rare thing in the region.
Its the same deal with women's rights and equality while not perfect like anywhere in the world women in Israel are generally seen as equals as an example 34% of soldiers in the IDF are women, 23% of all officers are women, there is only the odd position that women cant serve in, due to strength but even that policy is said to be changing and i expect assessed on merit.
So the question is why do you and others waste all your time dissing and opposing those with values and goals similar to ours (even with our political/social differences) while trying to make excuses and being protective even seemingly supporting of those that hold the complete opposite ideals/values?
BTW. I found the figure for those suspected kidnapped but not claimed by Hamas but by other group's or individual's, Times radio has reported its 40, but they dont know how many bodies were taken back to Gaza to be paraded around as trophies.
