Arvo report: There's the change and with it conditions are now all choppy and fairly poor. Try southern corners but we might need less tide.

It's a beautiful morning of surf with 3-4ft of east swell under a light offshore wind. The tide is running out and it'll be best now ahead of a strong south change into the afternoon with less size.

Dawn report: Hit the open beaches and magnets this morning now that the east energy has backed off. The waves are 4ft and looking fun with a bit of lump and dropping tide. It's on the way out and a strong southerly change is due into the afternoon. The next surf report update will be around 9am.
