The mighty Pedra Branca dished up a mackin' early season swell on Sunday, with the Tassie boys getting stuck into some big bombs. Stu Gibson positioned his drone above the action - here's a tasty teaser for ya.
Never mind the Harold Holt, I ain't got time for rhyming slang. With blue skies, a grinding left and zero crowds I'd be running down this bush track faster than Usain Bolt.
Thankfully Nicholas Green isn't quite so impatient and stopped to fire off a few shots.

Tassie ain't all Shippies madness and isolated west coast reefbreaks. Despite the cold and the relentless Roaring 40's winds, Tassie can often be fun. In this session, Tassie photographer, Nicholas Green, captures locals timing their run across a shallow, barrelling shelf.

Tasmanian photographer, Mathew Tildesley, recently sent us a surprising selection of shots from his home island. Surprising because there wasn't one shot of Shipsterns Bluff amongst them - proof that there's much more to the Apple Isle than that lone wave.
They were also surprising because it almost looks warm in these photos. Cold, you say? Nah...look at all that blue sky.
