Off The Beaten Track
When a large swell hits the Southern Tasmanian coast local surfers usually flock to the known bays and points, seeking protection from the size and winds. Tyler Holmer-Cross and Sam McLennan took a different approach last Saturday and went searching off the beaten track to try and maximise the size of the swell while also being sheltered from the strong winds. They stumbled across this pefect right point with only the two of them sharing big drops and heaving barrels as photographer Finn Whitla snapped away these beautiful shots of the session.
