Charming all American architecture seen in the homes off the back of this wave too. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Newport has a great vibe, despite how bland the beach looks. I’m a sometimes whomper there. A mate of mines great grandmother bought the island behind it Balboa, for a song many years ago when everyone else thought it was just a sinking sandbar. She made an unspeakable windfall selling it off piece by piece

There got some balls surfing fibre glass boards out there. Heavy enough without that carnage

Yeah don't know what'd be more painful, getting drilled into the bottom or standing next to the fella doing the filming.

Love the commentary, worth watching for that alone if your a bit undecided.

I like seeing boogers, dropkneers and standups all giving it bash, and the party wave... seems like they've all got there surfing 'community' values in order.. a bit of anarchy, a lot of fun. and the spiritual home of skim boarding.. those dudes have epic good attitudes generally.
