It's late summer in Australia and the heat's been here too long. It's hot and humid in the north and the east, and just hot everywhere else. It's the time of year when I long for the seasons to turn, when surfing in a hood and gloves seems appealing, almost.

So I can watch this video of Pete Devries in frigid Canada and not be appalled by the cold. It also helps that the waves are pretty damn good, especially the Box-like slab with the backdoor entry that starts around the four-minute mark.
