Brad Domke // The Right Transfers - video
Called 'The Right Transfers' this video isn't, unfortunately, filmed at The Right, rather it's shot at Newport Beach, an aptly titled section of it called Cylinders.
"It was for sure the biggest that I've board transferred to my skim at this particular spot," said Domke, and he's been going there fifteen years.
And for those who perhaps don't remember, Domke has skimmed The Right. See image at bottom for the outcome of that misadventure.

Unbelievable!
Is Gary the only devilishly handsome facey-lover on the forums who thinks that board transfers are a dangerous and irresponsible practice?
As you know Gary all unwanted transfers can be avoided by using appropriate precautions.
For this wave the use of a soft ride in seems the safer option as opposed to the usual rock hard Gary approach.
the kid
loves a beating
How many softies does it take to get pitted on the heaving shorey, many I guess, l cannot believe that this Yellow log didnt snap a million times during that session sheesh, hows your back feel BD......... ?
is he going right at the wedge?! wow ! new levels of desperation...
looks more makeable than the left
sick edit, great surfing with really nice music. Brad does it different which is what i like the most.
i like to see Tim out there on kneeboard
Yeah in the end though, I reckon you could design a board that can you can paddle and still get just as pitted with the skills he has. Different good. Two boards - pain the arse.
That was really good!
I normally hate these kinds of wedge vids, take off get pitted in a close out and drilled into the sand risking a neck injury...but this one isn't too bad to watch once, actually making barrels and the dude has good board control and those take off's with the soft board look cool, i bet that feels awesome.
I admire this guys skill with what he is doing but why doesnt he just surf?
Great surfing skills..... very flexible spine!!
