You're not wrong Ben. Thurso is a long way north and pretty inconsistent but when we got there in mid November it was firing...like the vid complete with brown/green water. A couple of mates & I paddled out there (this was '80 when wetties weren't nearly as good but we were a lot braver) and suffice to say the waves were awesome but the ice cream headaches awesomer.

Surfed that area in the mid 80s and was impressed with all the set-ups. No crowds back then.
