Hard to imagine with 800 cases a day in NSw but this article suggests lockdowns are slowing the spread and the vaccines are starting to show a reduction in rate of hospitalisation, which hopefully means we can live with Covid over time.

I’m no epidemiologist, but it seems we have an issue with the message. This is what I understand:
- current death rate from COVID-19 is around 1%, on average. Lower in Australia.
- death rates have decreased (esp in western counties) as COVID is better understood and treatment is improved
- death rates (generally) reflect the level of health care proportionate to development. (Ie, lower in developed, higher in undeveloped)
- as cases increase, so does the pressure on the health system.
- There is a saturation point at which deaths increase, not only as an overall number but also as a proportion of cases.
- pressure on the health system is not only the number of cases overall, but an increase in cases on the health workforce.
- the aim of the suppression strategy is to minimise the chances of health system overload.
- Bill Gates wants to eat your children
- vaccination reduces but doesn’t prevent you getting COVID, but it does (generally) reduce severity and chance of transmission
-there is a direct technical link between 5G and the tracking software in the vaccinations
- vaccination targets are a reflection of the assessed level that will not stop COVID itself but will be more likely to prevent overload of the health system

In this case not money but unrealistic action on climate change issues, they try to force governments by threatening the public with social disobedience and disrupting the public rights to use roads and public areas freely etc
Peaceful protesting is fine with minimal disturbance to public and doing things legally, but once you antagonise people or cause disadvantage to people or cause property damage or break the law you should lose your right to protest and be hit hard by the law.
The real problem here is people will eventually say enough is enough if the authority's wont take these people seriously the public will and other groups will form to combat them and then those groups will be blamed, luckily we are seeing police take these lockdown groups seriously but they dont take some other groups seriously, im sure in time we will see things escalate in Australia like we have in the USA it might take 10 or 20 years or more but it will happen, riots, looting, burning of buildings, groups on the streets fighting back.
We dont want to become the USA.

Ive kind of stopped watching Avi's videos during Covid as im not into the whole Anti lockdown, anti vaxer crowd and he is clearly cashing in on it, but hey i cant blame him, there isn't much other rallies or things to cover.
But occasionally i will watch one and even in those videos, im surprised at the people at these rallies, yeah sure some fit into your above categories but many don't, lots of people of different ethnicity's and colours, lots of women too old and young, not just men.

One incident meanwhile you ignore literally hundreds of seperate acts of violence and social unrest by BLM and Antifa, in the last 1.5 years ,every single week shit still goes down in the USA, some city like in Portland still have the first floor of public buildings and police headquarters etc bordered up with plywood.

I have a friend who has gone down the rabbit hole of conspiracy. Over the last year the downwards spiral has been dramatic. Left his wife and kids for a crystal wearing vegan. Are you aware that the NSW police now have the power to unilaterally lock down domestic residences if they so wish? They also now have the power to burst into your home and compel ( force) you to submit to a Covid test.
You’re not even safe hiding in your own home if they believe you are guilty of the crime of being sick.
It’s a short stroll to the point where families are forcibly separated as the government keeps stating that intra-home spread is the largest point of contagion.
Add this to the litany of government imposed situations such as someone being arrested for eating a kebab on their own in a park, mothers being unable to cross state borders to save the life of their children and dying relatives prevented from seeing their loved ones as they pass and it’s not too hard to see why US citizens balk out our society’s evolution. There were no guns in the capitol because there’s no open carry in DC, and concealed carry is very heavily restricted. There’s also no reciprocity, so interstate gun owners couldn’t carry into DC. Interstate in a DC context is about 5miles, just over the Potomac. Thank goodness for small mercies.
