I never get tired of watching this bloke and the waves he surfs . Also comes across as a champion bloke .
Geez I’d need chiropractic correction after getting into that position these days.
Excuse the commentary. Some pretty hectic shore/neck break footage by Clay

Dads 70th birthday present
In 1973, hobbyist filmmaker, David Barnes, and his girlfriend Judy, went on a surf trip to Seal Rocks on the NSW mid-North Coast. David filmed it all on his 8mm movie camera and then cut an edit when he got back. Fast forward to 2021. David's daughter, Belinda, decides to surprise her father with a 70th birthday gift - a restored and remastered version of her father's old movie, complete with soundtrack. This was a special project for Scanned and Secure and I hope you enjoy this beautiful film with insightful and iconic footage from life in 1973.
Mr Rutledge
Clay Marzo and Mason Ho at Desert point, my fave surfers besides all the other100 or so...
Also some groms styling and getting some 4-5 foot slow, long patient sets between 2 footers and a couple have more style than mason in some ways like that weird grab rail pig dog which i like but kind of looks wonky and a hard skill to master..Anyway awesome clip Mason just shared. Marzo rips all over him though on lefts.

Looks like too high tide and too south, fun and perfect just easy looking..ive seen a bodyboarder called Glowy do highline carves into the 8ft+ pit there, taught to him by watching Matt Percy when he rode a lid at the Island..Tide at scars was too lowtide, swell was too west and he eventually ate it into the reef and grazed his whole body and board..Charging.
Not pro level in technique and moves etc but surely one of the best chargers on a lid ive seen.Even at 40.
Think he saves cash as an AC technician and goes to Indo for two year stints these days.May have bought land too at scars if his plans went ahead.
Land prices/lease prices there have been multiplied by 6+ in 12 years.
Don't think there's a forum thread for random surf clips to share...so here goes.
