Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.

Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.

@Andy-Mac...... yeah, they are so huge here (locals), that it has never occurred to me that they wouldn't be huge most everywhere. They're a bit polarising in that the fans LOOOVE them and the ones who don't.. really don't.

What's the quote, "they aren't the best at what they do, they are the only ones that do what they do."

25 and out for Spunk Records.

First met Cornrow at G-Land mid-nineties, then he lived at Cronulla for a while, and now lives on this coast and surfs Sandon regularly. In fact, he used to work in this office, and have touring bands play in here or over in the bar area at Anita's Theatre.

Very low key fella. Did some very impressive things.

Oh man, two blasts from the past. 25 years of awesome music from Spunk, much of which have punctuated my life, and Curnow being interviewed by Karen Leng, who’s show on 3RRR in the 80’s, Station to Station, was sooo formative. First time I heard Buthole Surfers, X, Rank and File, Rollins and so many others was on her show. Australian broadcast royalty. She still rocks.

saw Dave Graney (with Clare Moore and Adele Pickvance) last night - really good, actually excellent. Such a well crafted set, starting very slow and mellow with some solo tunes off his new album, then bringing in the ladies with firstly some light percussion, then Adele on bass, and it grew and grew.

was never a big fan, only knew a handful of songs, and of his long presence on the scene, so getting that sort of talent to the local small historical theatre, I knew it would be worth the effort. He's certainly a seasoned performer, and decent story teller.

the performance grew and grew, to culminate in this classic, before the small (but very appreciative) crowd demanded 1 more. Another memorable local gig.

that's great news GJ, that Graney puts on a solid show, never got into him either (a little too spoken noodley US accenty fedora), but I live near where he grew up (he hates the place) and I like the idea of him.  Good tunes, seeds and tbb.  Amazing picks from the spunk catalogue blackers.

the Last Chance bar @blackers, can't believe they close at 7am on the weekend then have bands at lunchtime and then in the evening.. most free (or $10) as you'd said.

I think I went every day I was there, a band called Good Moon had come from Castlemaine just for a gig there. It felt very desolate in that area on the Monday when the whole district shut down, even the Drunken Poet.  Great palate cleanser though to head home on the tues.

westall 66 surprised me, they weren't half bad live, find their music pretty meh:

this band, with the guy from Thatcher's Snatch, (so good to see a scene where everyone has many bands and side projects, melbourne as bro) was probably my highlight:

Glad you had fun base6, they do a good job there and should be supported.
Another tune from the 80's that seems apposite given some of the crazy commentary going about. A base line to be proud of. Play it loud.

Q: Why Why Why did it take so long to ban Awarded #1 Psychotic Hit of murdering one's temptress.
2023 The toughest of roughest mobs banned this 1968 song by Iconic much loved fellow countryman.

Should crew follow mental tbb down this dark scary road...be a laugh! [ Wrong Way Turn Back Now ]

Like who would be so mean to ban some Mobster Crooner's #1 song!
Gotta be one of them Woke Mobs that aren't real men...err...crew said that...not tbb...yikes!

Recent Oz slashings & DV drove tbb to unearth such a Grave Psychotic Pop Hit anomaly....

Like many or most...tbb comes from a DV home & genuinely over time supports victims.

This drives tbb into further understanding why & for how long does this crisis last.
World's eyes are upon Australia...but somehow tbb is not sold on like-minded financial fix.
Nope! The Cash Splash don't bother tbb...happy to share what crew likewise shares with tbb.
It's more about this false narrative that the Internet is to blame for all Chix hassles...not buyin' it!

Stranger than fiction research keeps outing the same dominant truths.
#1 Bullying is forever most prevalent in Pubescent Girls Schools.
#1 DV & Divorce is likewise most prevalent within Lesbian Couple Relationships.
#1 Motive of Violence upon Females...is not Jealousy or Revenge but a lack of virtue!

Virtue is the founding Pillar of Society...you ain't got that, your world crumbles...stacks on!
It's a chix worth...their everything that's at stake...us guys gotta respect it & likewise live by same code!
Lesbians / The Teacher's Pet / Slut in a Mini skirt are all asking for it from sisters & their tribe.
Almost as if taboo...you cross any Societal Virtuous line for any reason even for personal survival!
The flock don't need permission....Virtue is unspoken Lore = lights out!

[Factcheck] 1986 Court Case...Wife of MBE songwriter reveals she co wrote this murderous Ballad.
Ok! Now starting to sound a bit personally Virtuous...least vengeful...Mighty Powerful Power Ballad!

Today! Similar Virtue is once again being judged front and centre..
Brutally salacious underworld Porn Star extorts the fuck outta lying cheating leader of the free world.
Taboo world of Women's Virtue is an all powerful Omen...All hush as a Pornstar's tell all is at stake!

We dare not mention her Name...She! Who betrays Lovers & Nations for a song started this War.

tbb invites the crew to out this secret evil taboo by singing in song...a now recently banned Song!
OMG! Can we even do that! Not sure...'bout to find out...so strap in & buckle up for a rocky ride!

4 reasons to be terrified by our beloved #1 Hot Sexy Adorable Swooning Psychopath!

* Name of Treacherous Woman in the song & her horrific deeds are not of a Virtuous Woman! (Nope!)
* Listen to the Psycho Stabbing Violins...Holy fuckin' shit tbb...never heard that before! (Nope...Classic!)
* Fear the Evil Eye staring you down like a Clockwork Orange Mobster! #1 Crooner is evil! (Yep!)
* (Lyric!) She stood there Laughing...I felt the Knife in my Hand and she laughed no more! (All over!)

Holy fuckin' shit tbb...
Please someone anyone just ban this song before Ben's Tunesmiths sound it out... (Too Late...sorry!)
tbb is sharing this song for the last time...likely disappear from the Internet...while yer joyfully singing!
Only the most roughest violent mob from our woke world we're offended enough & tuff enough to ban it.

unreal hellacopters tracks @indo, what a sound! not sure how the hellacopters recorded, but that electric frankenstein cover seems illustrative of the clinical 'pro tools sound' in terms of that era and the transition from tape.

any in SA who missed out on the the turbo-sold-out where's the pope gig with the meanies and numbskulls last year, they seem to be making it annual. Nov 1st with bearded clams and beerwolf.. interesting to see if it sells out this time. it may be 'old bands doing young things' but in a little town like adelaide, it's sometimes fun to be in a packed room with the crusties of your yoof ; )

Nice one.

"I tried to write a drinking song but couldn't get past the first bar." The Cosmic Psychos didn't write that lyric but they should've. Instead we have here two other songs, one about killing your parents and burying them with your tractor and another about old blokes perving on young girls.

Simple themes.

Hall Of Fame album covers too.
