Vaccinate or not

I was a little shocked at Alan Joyce (CEO Qantas) announcement that international travelers will be required to have a covid 19 vaccination in order to travel on Qantas flights . The government wanted to have mandatory vaccination but after the bumbling of its release ( it was painful to watch the delivery of that announcement ) they withdrew the mandatory part but it seems Qantas and other business may demand a vaccination in order to use their services. I’m not anti vaccine by any means I just don’t trust this government or a vaccine that has been rushed through. A jab followed by another jab followed by yearly jabs doesn’t sit well with me as I have never had a flu shot or the flu for more than 20 years. Plus I don’t want to give this shot to my healthy 4 year old daughter. She is up to date with all her vaccinations but this covid vaccine is new and not being around for decades like the others. Tuberculosis remains the number one as far diseases go and you don’t need proof of vaccination to travel so what is going on ?

Probably HPV, vaccine stops genital warts and cervical cancer in women.
Unfortunately herd immunity won't help the unvaccinated, celibacy will though.

Ok can we bring US up on the Covid Dashboard...
Hospitalizations are 25% up on Summer 2023 wave...follows global pattern.
Canada : Quebec Hospitalizations @1,200/wk + 30 dying of covid/wk...

Here's the News : Highest since mid 2022...similar to Global & Oz Outbreaks
Experts : Heat Wave Air Con /Waning Immunity /VOCs are more infectious > Back 2 School = More Vax

Ok! We can listen to experts & let this slide as a Global trend or explore further...
So is their a more obvious underlying cause here!

Wave was once again started by Summer Escape Drive Tourism to seachange destinations.
tbb did report of Hawaii / Maine / Florida / California / Nevada hotspots...no brainer...
(Wot! Not Expert enough!)
tbb has also repeatedly highlighted the Mass immigration outbreaks fuel & ride tails of local waves!
Yes! That's exactly why US Hospitals are 25% up on last summer...it's a race to cram until Election day!
Is this a political hot potato...again...yes! Very much so...this ticks all the boxes (Expert enough for ya!)

But experts never said...never said Wot...the obvious...Nope! They're Paid to massage Govt Outbreaks!

* States launching legal suits against Govt for lack of resources have the highest WW Covid readings.
Record breaking WW covid reads...
*Alabama *Arkansas *Louisiana are flooded with record migration Covid waves.
Ya don't get to read about it outside of Vax or Not Exclusion zone coz GOP are too stupid to data match.

Other 'record high' WW states 'not' suing the Govt! New Hampshire / Washington + North Carolina
A few Dem Cushioned States + Swing Migration State NC playing both parties!

2nd highest WW states suing the Govt...*Florida *Kansas *Texas *Wyoming + New Mexico not suing!
Stress on Health System is first grade Political Fire Power but can't see GOP being that clever!
[Factcheck] Record Migration = Record WW Covid = 25% more stress on Hospitals = Free GOP gift?
Should be dominating the US News Cycle...
{ US Democracy + Obamacare is under attack by Joe's Record Illegal Alien Killer Viral Invasion }
Must tbb script Trump Billboards...WTFU!
Go figure...Trump needs a better half Decent Non Expert straight up Data guy!
Feel free to share Vax or Not exclusive with GOP...knock yerselves out, as if they care! Tip! They don't!

Trump snoozed and Dem's / Big Pharma has pounced on self generated Covid Wave...

Again please don't Wake Up US Media...Vote'n'Vax Day is actually a thing...
Just saying to expect a healthy Dose of Democratic Intervention...OMG! Exactly! Here comes the Judge!

Across the Pacific > Malaysia 29th June Hospitalized 3,256/wk topped 2023
July : Taiwan ended highest 2024 Hospitalizations 987/wk > Deaths clocking 100/wk for over a month!
South Korea are currently getting slammed & are setting up field Hospitals
Hospitalizations : 1st July 148/wk > End of July 475/wk > Start Aug 880 /wk > End Aug 1,464/wk
350,000 [+] cases.
Across to Euro / UK likewise was well above 2023 Summer Hospitalizations 282/wk '23 > 492/wk '24
Closer examination times perfectly with Euro Peak Football Outbreak!

US / UK / Euro ~ Post Lockdown waves are driven by Peak Transit...so not unusual...

Oz notable Covid "Highest" Current Rises
Aged Care WA 2nd >>> 23rd Aug Outbreaks 5 >11 Res 35 > 58 Staff 10 > 16
.....................SA ......................................................11 > 17 Res 53 > 90 Staff 14 > 31
.....................Vic.......................................................39 > 48Res201>309 Staff 68 >78
.....................Oz ..........................................deaths 15Aug =15/wk > 22Aug =22/wk

NSW Oz gateway 19th Aug 1023/2395 (42.7%) > 17th Aug 1123/2506 (44.8%)

While none of this data is unusual it's that it's still casually rising from a high base level.
That would be of most concern that this being the new base level...(Why is that a concern tbb!)
Well check SA debating to remove (Code Yellow just last week) Now check unhealthy a/c rises.
Almost as if they need to go straight back to code Yellow...all see that...(Meaning forever Yellow!)
Imagine if that spreads Oz wide then whole nation never bottoms out in forever Covid wards!
Now ya see the hidden impact of each wave is undermining our Surgery/Ambo bed availability!
Soon one long Code Yellow Oz Wide...that is gonna break the nation unless Oz stares Covid down!
How to break the back of increasingly infectious Virus!
That's the Money Question...always was & always will be...then add the long covid impost...Wow!

Other Data has bottomed out...meaning it's only a month before it ramps again...
o/s rise times with a seasonal mid term o/s uni spring break odd bump & should correct itself...Gulp!
Now that's tbb being very optimistic with a rare off the cuff insightful data read that few would know!
So guessing we can call a false start Cold Snap correction & next wave looks to rise by end of Sept!
This particular strain does jump with colder snaps...thinking that's what we're seeing...but!
Recall Oz Athletes copped a reverse Cold > Summer mutation of same virus in Paris
Might pay to consider Peak reverse seasonal gap in immunity for same strain in opposite climates! Huh?
Why not assume the same virus uses different attack mode by weather extremes...might check on that!
Of course tbb is talking to himself...not heard any debates on this climate flip on same strain. (Later!)
Here's a loophole on this train of thought where travellers have been caught out & flawed!
https://www.reddit.com/r/CoronavirusDownunder/comments/1ez7mzy/question_...

Explains the o/s Summer > Oz Winter jump + Southern Oz / WA / Vic bump...no need to panic as yet!
Happy to share 'round the World / Oz in Limbo Covid Wrap.

Bonus Blog/Mag style Data companions will cover what Oz data news tbb hasn't.
eg : Moderna / Pfizer have applied to Oz for JN1 Vax approval

I don't think "taking responsibility" would have helped the scores of kids who died from measles in Samoa in 2019.

There's just no questioning the efficacy of vaccinations.

It was a very relevant question Burls.

When you say "every vaccination it's given", that's implying that a new born is immediately given multiple vaccinations.

According to the Department of Health and Aged Care, a shot against Hep B is offered in hospital.

So that's one shot.

And as for not mentioning disease, what do you think vaccinations are for??

What the fuck does "necessary" even mean in this context??

How about -

The rationale for the Hep B birth dose for all newborn infants is to prevent:

1. vertical transmission from a mother with chronic hepatitis B, recognising that there may be errors or delays in maternal testing, reporting, communication or appropriate response

2. horizontal transmission to the infant in the first months of life from people with chronic hepatitis B who are household or other close contacts

Newborns should receive the birth dose as soon as they are medically stable, and preferably within 24 hours of birth, but the vaccine can be given within the first 7 days of life. Ideally the vaccine is given before the baby is discharged from the obstetric hospital or delivery unit.

Look at the language Burls.

Rationale not necessity.
Should not must.
Can not must.
Ideally.

Your fixation on whether it is "necessary" is missing the point.

We're talking about risk reduction, and the evidence of vaccinations reducing the risk of illness, hospitalisation and death is massive, overwhelming, irrefutable.

Do you have young daughters, bawly? If so, how good is it that they probably won't catch the very contagious HPV, the virus that around 85 percent of us who've ever had sex have contracted and will greatly reduce her risk of cervical cancer, because the vast majority of young people are now being vaxxed for it. It'll be great! No thanks to you though, as you are a selfish piece of shit.

A very contradictory statement here. Showing that you have no idea once again

Boy, would I like to know what was contradictory about that "statement".

Oh you know…

We're talking about risk reduction, and the evidence of vaccinations reducing the risk of illness, hospitalisation and death is massive, overwhelming, irrefutable.

irrefutable has a stronger meaning than necessary.

You’ve said a lot of words but not much context.

It’s just words mate. Googled words
