Best Days: Selected locations tomorrow, possibly early Friday, Saturday
Features of the Forecast (tl;dr)
Recap
Nothing of note with the westerly stormy track being too zonal to generate any S'ly swell.
This week and weekend (Jun 13 - 18)
This forecast will be brief with Steve being back on board with a much more detailed analysis Wednesday.
The coming week remains tiny to flat across the region thanks to a benign Tasman Sea and continuing mid-latitude activity from Western Australia, pushing east across us.
There's no swell generating systems on the cards and strong N/NW-NW winds on Friday look to be too off angled to generate any N'ly swell for us Friday/Saturday.
Early to mid next week will remain void of surf, with some slight potential for a distant, long-range E'ly swell later week. We've got model agreement regarding a developing low just behind New Zealand, but it looks to be sitting too far south, and effectively blocked. Check back here on Wednesday for an update on this.
