The endless winter - photos
While large heavy surf continued to impact the southern NSW coast (epic no doubt), further north consistent lines of groundswell refracted into protected bays and points offering endless surf for the last couple of days.
With clear sunny skies, T-shirt weather, and no let up in the sets, this feels like the endless winter, and what a sublime feeling it is.

Like a Wet Dream !!
Love the red fin sunset arvo shot Craig. Brilliant!!!
Ahhhh, the serenity ... What a place.
Craig it has been brilliant down south here as well. Warm weather into June, water temp still reasonable and a stack of surf for probably 6 weeks. Can't complain.
Lovely pics.
Australia is truly Godzone.
You lucky bugger Craig (an everyone else between Eden and Hervey Bay).
Just one question - where did you find the reserves of patience required to stand on the headland taking photos, while waves like that were reeling off in front of you?
When you've done 10 laps of the point and can't paddle no more.. haha. Gotta rest. Also had to work as well, so that was good recovery time :)
Thanks guys, pretty special week.
Great memories of last June at this spot - not as big but perfect all the same. Is there a funner wave than this?
Yes.
