Watch: Snapper A Few Hours Ago
Been a slow ol' summer up Gold Coast way. January was a drag, bereft of cyclones or even trade swell, while February has been better but there's still plenty of room to improve.
Craig Halstead, who never misses a Goldy sunrise, called this morning's Snapper session the best of the year. For that alone, it's worth embedding here.

brutal burning around the 2 min mark, as they guy was about to come out
you think? I agree it was a burn (I have no idea what the norm is up there these days); Drop-In only gave a cursory look behind, but though Tuber had found the door, it slammed shut.. he had zero vision, if he coulda he woulda I reckon.
base,
i think if the burner doesnt paddle for that and as such crumble the lip, old mate in the tube comes out clean, maybe even slightly later ,
i agree though it only shows a cursory and that is what my view is based on
I watched again, good call, I think you're probably right.
way to smack out an edit craigH!! anyone know the method by which craig gets his music..? Many of them stick in my mind, the marrying not being at first obvious, but always adds to the clip.. Punktilious are a nice local choice (bet they creamed their daks when they found no-one had made the pun on 'punctilious' before!). But how did the Martian come by songs like southerners William St Strikers' Tammy for that 'everyone, everywhere' edit a couple of years ago, for example?
With waves like that and Dbah round the corner, it's no wonder the level of surfing on average is so high.
Yeah, and crowded.
YES but generally there is only one brain cell out in the water and everybody shares a piece of it
Yep.
guy on the yellow fish was ripping. It's like bringing a knife to a gun fight surfing waves that are draining that hard with that flat rocker.
I'd rather watch Nazare tow ins!!
