Ben Howard vinyl giveaway
This month UK singer/songwriter/surfer Ben Howard is touring Australia supported by Swellnet. His Sydney Opera House gig is sold out but there's still tix left for Fremantle, a second Sydney show, Melbourne, and Byron Bay too. Click here for details.
Swellnet has got hold of four vinyl recordings of Howard's 'Live Sessions'. They're rare, limited edition, and rare - did I already say that? OK, point taken...
To win one of these rare albums all you have to do is follow some simple instructions:
Most Australian surfers thinks England has terrible waves. Maybe they're right? However, if you think otherwise then lay your cards on the table. Post a photo or video in the comments below, say a little about the wave (though not too much if prudence is required), and you'll get extra marks if it's your own photo and not taken straight from Google.
That's it! The four people who post the most desirable Pommy waves get a copy.
Entries close next Monday at midday (Sydney time) and we'll announce winners at 5pm that day.
Note: looking for somewhere to upload your photos? We recommend Imgur.com.

Got to be the best english wave
touché
God I love Ben Howard. I forget where we are is incredible.
Unfortunately I do not have and experience surfing in the UK. I think the attached might be able to point you in the right direction?
The rules to this comp aren't strict ACB, meaning there's plenty of room to just make shit up. Rip off a photo, create a tale, post it here. Least you'll be honouring the Pommy tradition of blagging.
Pheww! that's lucky.
I took that photo myself.
Might be worth pointing out that two photos of the Queen is probably enough (and ACB, you lose a point 'cause there ain't no wave).
Ha ha...
Cornish Magic, Halloween 2010. If you look closely you can see the guys paddling out - there were only three of us out when I was out there, and much colder ;-)
How do you upload photos on this site? Sheeesh....
As per the bottom of the article, try Imgur.

Woolacombe
Give me the record already!!
That's it no more (today) Australian mate suggested I look like something outta the 'hurt-locker' in all the kit.
Day of the year at Bournemouth! Hope I haven't blown the secret.
Ben Howard, never heard of him. He wouldn't be the love child of our little Johnny and Queen Elizabeth?
Well, his middle name is John so you may be closer than you think.
This is the hottest local at Porthleven, Mike 'what you lookin' at geeza' Oxwolen relaxing between sets.
Mike has a fondness for Mark II Escorts, Newcastle Brown Ale, Portsmouth FC, Headbutts and Escorts. In addition to his huge collection of vinyl, his treasured LP's include works by Gary Glitter, The Sweet, Rod Stewart and the Bay City Rollers.
He thinks that geeza Ben 'Oward arent arf bad and has always wanted to shag Kate Bush cause she's fit.
By the way. What's the chance of Swellnet getting him to sign them?
Pull that picture of me down NOW!!!! Zen. I have never Liked the Bay City Rollers!!!
Sorry Shaun, I should have asked first. Pulled that off your Tinder profile.
But you're looking good man. You been working out?
Yes, I have been working out as a matter of fact, every afternoon with a six pack and a pizza.
I forgot all about that tinder profile, set it up when I was looking into earning a wage off the internet dating scam, but then they gave me the gig at swellnet.
I have never been at England before. However sometimes I saw news about the swells coming out to England. I live in Portugal, a country with really good waves. Telling us that England doesn't have good waves isn't true. The prove is in that hundreds of videos posted online every year like http://vimeo.com/84632861 that show us how consistence and good a wave can be in a place that "have terrible waves" . We can't tell that some place have terrible waves or simply doesn't has it, nature is unpredictable and with the right swell, some of these places can surprise us like England. After all Ben Howard is an English surfer and singer and he combines really good the two things. When I listen his musics I fell that I'm at a beach surfing some waves, a really good ones, like those I want to experience in England
this any good? Croyde in North Devon
