On the Indo visa thing, a friend of mine from QLD got a 3 month Visa and arrived in Indo about two weeks ago, doesnt have any type of Indo connections, purely just an every day semi retired surfer over there to surf and relax, so it is doable.

That is why I enrolled in the course I linked you, to increase my understanding, starts March. My wife just finished it, she said it’s great. I looked at your course recommendation, and its great that you are increasing your awareness of Indigenous Australian Cultural issues.

As I pointed out to you, I studied Traditional and Contemporary Australian Indigenous Cultures in the most thorough format that was available at the time, three years full time, at two universities, some distant, some on campus. I got on the Deans Honour Roll several times, and earned other academic merit awards. There are advantages in doing that type of comprehensive ('full bottle' in your words) study, for all concerned. One of the main advantages, beneficial to all, that my most learned, Indigenous Australian Professors and lecturers placed a huge emphasis on, was to prove that I could satisfy the stringent, academic criteria that the universities demanded. So, needless to say, they were very pleased with my efforts. That is a huge topic in itself, as not everyone at the universities I studied at were happy that the Degree Course was available there, and openly opposed it, for various reasons, including some racist reasons. Racism was a large area of my study, so I am totally confident when I say that.

I had to prove beyond any doubt that I could and did comprehend, research and consider all the material for and against, when constructing an argument or answer to the examination questions posed. And then I had to present those answers and arguments in an acceptable academic format. Again, it was extremely important to the course providers that I not be seen as getting a soft, easy option. In fact, as I did electives outside the set course modules, I saw first hand that the opposite situation was the case.

A very shallow attempt to reverse reality.

Like many words in the english language, language can be used as an umbrella like, and time saving term to encompass all languages. As you are interested, and as I've pointed out on here many times, there are indeed many Traditional Indigenous Australian Cultural groups, and if you take into account the different dialects, there about 1000 or more different ways of using speech, or language, in our terms.

Expanding on what I was talking about, in all of those different Traditional Indigenous Australian Cultural groups there is no word, or concept for time, as we know it. That is the case with many of their, and our Cultural ideologies. So, even our attempts at explaining and understanding Dreaming, (which encompasses many Dreamings) are flawed, brought to light by our twisting of Dreaming, into 'Dreamtime'.

In Traditional Indigenous Australian Cultures, Dreaming is the Oneness which includes and relates all. Including 'language'. Dreaming, Oneness, the common cause and being which made Indigenous Australian Cultures the most successful ever. So sickaz you can see the difficulty Indigenous Australians face when presenting modules like this, in the cousrse you will study, in these, contemporary 'times'.

Module 3 – Koori yeyi (Past to today)

In this third module, you will examine Noongar society pre-colonisation and learn about the key events (and rising tensions) that occurred following the arrival of the British settlers in 1826. Catastrophic segregation policies, land dispossession, and the attempted assimilation and genocide of Noongar culture and people will also be discussed. This module concludes by recognising the importance of reviving and celebrating culture today.

Module 4 – Ngalang moort koort (Family is our heart)

In this fourth module, you will learn about the heart of Noongar people’s lives - that of moort (family) and community. The kinship system, and the terms that identify who is who in the extended network that makes up Noongar families will be explored. This module will also illustrate ways in which family and communities ensure that culture and language are taught to younger generations.

As to the rest of your outburst. No not truthfull at all. I have friends too. I have also worked for many Indigenous Australian Organisations over decades, in three states. In many different roles, including caring, and mentoring. So my real, considerable experience is that I have been requested to speak out on Indigenous Australians behalf, including against racism, which I am qualified in assessing, and appreciated for doing so.

Only weeks ago I got asked to mentor a young guy, again. I've had some awesome results. Its so fucking hard. His life story is just one small, part. The whole mentoring scenario is so fucking hard. All that it encompasses. I haven't given an answer. I spoke to a friend not long ago who is in a difficult job. A kind of half way house for Indigenous Australian kids. Half way to fucking where, he said.

From what I've learned, there is blatant racism on this site, ever so sickly, sweetly explained away or beautifuly ignored.
