Not sure, didn't author it, but like other threads it's the home of back and forth on the topic. For this one, however, there's an inordinately high percentage of hysteria, rank bullshit, and cross-eyed ideology.

I'm aware of Project 25's issue with NOAA, but only as much as a well-curated news round up will tell me. There's a mild concern, but there's also been vast overreach by scare-mongering players.

It's good to read the opinions of the Swellnet community when they bother to offer their own impressions, but too often it's just a gathering of YouTube videos celebrating confirmation bias and replacing original thought.

Well if there’s a mild concern about 1 of project 2025s policy’s of dismantling NOAA , wouldn’t you think that US citizens should be made aware of this mild concern, not to mention the other policies of replacing the public service and the Department of Justice with MAGA loyalists should be highlighted as well

Just because it's mentioned by them doesn't mean it's a given. Doesn't even mean it's on the presidential agenda. The bloke hasn't even won.
