One of the nicest and well maintained coastal reserve / camping grounds you will find. Its pretty busy during the summer months but at other times its quiet and you never know you may score a wave.

HI Everyone.
Just a heads up that parking fees are again applicable if you are coming in to surf at Point leo. The cost is $4 per car and is payable each Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm from today until the end of the Easter School holidays 2018, and every day over the summer school holidays.
For those who didn't know, Point Leo is an entirely self funded public reserve. We receive no financial assistance from local, state or federal governments to manage 50 ha of public land. . This includes the maintenance of 5 public toilet blocks, 4 klms of roads, two playgrounds, 25 ha of mown open parkland, the camping reserve, 3 klms of coast line. We are not Parks Vic or Council. We are a volunteer Committee of Management.
Each year we spend $8000 on toilet paper, $100000 on rubbish removal, $80000 on re vegetation projects, just to name a few things.
The only income we have to run the park is the money we collect from parking and camping fees .
