Lord Howe Island
I sailed there about 14 years ago, it defenately had some decent looking set ups! when i was there though there was a masive low that had parked it self right over lord howe so the swell action over the two weeks i was there didn't prevail. Now through to late may is probably a good time to sus the outer reefs that skirt the lagoon in the shadow of mt gower and mt litchberg. The otherside also seemed to have plenty of little protected nooks and crannies. Like anywhere you probably just need lots of good timing and a bit of local knowledge. Good Luck! and if you do find some good crackin set ups keep it dark!
Look and you shall find. Be aware the lagoon side setups have deadly currents are the tide runs try draining 9k by 2k bath tub and you'll get the idea.
There are other site which tell you, but I won't, so you shouldn't!
Great place for diving with the wife, push bike through "town" Just a place to enjoy
Anyone been there or know what the surfs like there?
Thanks
