Turnbull rolls over "again" to the ultra right
Haha your a classic Blowin.
You must have good solar power on top of the 120Y, but your internet coverage would be thru the roof.
Fuck solar Welly. The Datsun might have a Nitrous Blower , but it's main fuel supply is steam. I got a mate to rip the donk out and throw in a boiler .
I've had Ketut and the boys feeding tyres into that thing for a few thousand kms now and she hasn't missed a beat. Sure , the coppers aren't into it , but even factoring in $500 worth of pollution fines I'm still way better off in the hip pocket than if I was burning diesel like every other knob.
Now that I think about it , the trailer is looking a bit light on for fuel tyres, I better stop at the next servo and grab their dead spares. The daft fuckers actually pay me to take them off their hands ! More beer money for me ....
@blowin- I've heard if you flash your Liberal Party Membership Card at Centrelink when you lodge your form they just stamp it no questions asked and your on your way? Is this true? It never worked for me when Labor were in power??
It's not a card as such Yorkessurfer , it's really a first edition of Mein Kampf signed by T. Abbott no less. Limited release Baby ! Would you like one ?
I've been putting in long hours baking cakes for Liberal Party fund raisers , so I've got a few favours owing if your keen. Just let me know which colour dust jacket you'd like, though I would recommend the maroon so you can hide your flushed cheeks when Tony starts orating. That Man is to die for !
Thanks Blowin yeah I will grab a copy. Centrelink have been giving me no end of grief so anything to smooth the process is appreciated! Maroon's ok but I'd prefer red to match my political beliefs. Slip in an autographed pic of Tones in his budgie smugglers and I'd be ecstatic!

My last post said Yeti, but in fact you are right Welly. It should have been Yowie. So how is it you have adopted a mythological creature in to your world when you don't have any first nation connection to their heritage or culture.
The Yeti or Abominable Snowman (Nepali: हिममानव, lit. "mountain man") is an ape-like cryptid taller than an average human that is said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet.[3] The names Yeti and Meh-Teh are commonly used by the people indigenous to the region, and are part of their history and mythology. Stories of the Yeti first emerged as a facet of Western popular culture in the 19th century.
Yowie is one of several names given to a mythical hominid reputed to live in the Australian wilderness. The creature has its roots in Aboriginal mythology. In parts of Queensland, they are known as quinkin (or as a type of quinkin), and as joogabinna,[1] in parts of New South Wales they are called jurrawarra, myngawin, puttikan, gubba, doolaga, gulaga and thoolagal.[1] Other names include yahoo, yaroma, noocoonah, wawee, pangkarlangu, jimbra and tjangara.[1][2][3]
As is the case with the North American Sasquatch, many people discount the existence of the yowie considering it more likely to be a combination of misidentification, folklore and hoax. Yowie-type creatures are common in Aboriginal Australian legends, particularly in the eastern Australian states.[4] The yowie's characteristics and legend are sometimes interchangeable with those of the bunyip.[5]
Irregardless of what you call it, it still remains a creature that lives in first nation folk lore.
Abbott's a Gubba......
My apologies Fishlegs, the other night Vodka starting typing, I had to edit those posts as I get a little touchy about the Kiwi and Yowie thing ;)
Sorry Floyd back to Abbott and politics.
Be ever vigilant welly Kiwi's may be the next group to be targeted by the Abbott government?

NEWS JUST IN!!!!! Dept of panic says "expect more bad things to happen"......
Hows this? A billionaire with a sensible solution to wealth inequality? Amazing!

When Abbott's not pissing off the locals, he's giving the international crowd the shits.

How good does smugness feel ? I'm a big fan of any form of self righteousness but smug has just got that little something extra.

That's an interesting read ...
Seems, according to here ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Hanauer ), he has been banging on about the same approach since 2012 ... check the links in the references namely:
this: http://business.time.com/2012/05/18/was-nick-hanauers-ted-talk-on-income...
His TED speach:
mmm, so the rich folk didn't like it the first time, and have not done much in the 2 years either?
But, that aside, interesting concept ... middleclass better at creating jobs than the wealthy?
Or, is this just another take on the rich, wanting to get wealthy, or more wealthy, off the back of the idea's and hard work of others?
@wingnut-Nick Hanauer appeared on Lateline on Friday night talking about the article. It's worth a look at, here's the link. It goes for about 15mins but there's a transcript of the interview in the link to save chewing up your data.

Jesus H Christ.... Now Abbott is "outsourcing" for budget ideas...... That's the way of capitalism lol..... Umm, Tony, you are the government...... It's not the crossbenchers job to come up with alternatives... That's your job...... It's the crossbenchers job to tick them or cross them....
" Prime Minister Tony Abbott has challenged key crossbenchers to provide alternative savings that "stack up" " - link here - http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-08-18/abbott-challenges-senators-for-bud...

I was wondering what that pain was. Can I have my vote back please.
Could be piles, happyasS...... Or should I say notsohappyasS....... More fibre, mate ;)
They say only 2 things are sure in life, floyd.... Death and taxes...... Well I think there's an extra one - pain in the bum....... Whether it be piles, dodgy taco's, or inept governments.... ;)
Asked on radio about NSW Liberal MP's resigning over bribery allegations Abbott blamed, you guessed it, the Labor Party? Seriously you couldn't make this shit up?

Yorko.... Check this out.... Andrew Bolt has made an absolute egg of himself..... He's gone the throat of Palmer over Palmers "chinese mongrels" outburst.... He noted Penny Wong was on the panel, and that she remained "silent"..... This shocked Bolta, because Bolta reckons Wong is Chinese.... She should've stood up.....
Well.... The problem is that Wong is actually 1/2 Malaysian 1/2 Australian..... Born in Malaysia.....
Freekn hilarious....... But you know those slanty eye folk.... That all look the same in Bolts eyes lol

That's gold Sheepy thanks for the link!
floyd wrote:Apologies for getting so anal about this butt ….. the trouble with Abbott and co is they are all over the shop; first they were reaming people left right and centre and now they are licking (cross bench senators) arse.
Keeping on shooting yourself in the feet boys …….
Bolt never lets the truth get in the way of a good story; just ask those indigenous Australians he offended so badly. Poor ole Andrew Bolt the man who expects the highest standards of truth and probity except for himself and his Tea Party mates; what a tosser.
He is a really weird guy, lives not far from me and hardly ever seen outdoors and to think he was linked with Hawke and boys from the Labor party back in the day. Definitely has some sort of siege mentality and could be line ball psychotic.
now at 4756.... still holding at 94%..... I'd say alot of coalition voters want Palmer gone, too, floyd... I'd guess 20% of the vote...... Still 74ish % is a bloodbath...
floyd wrote:Hey Sheepdog, I reckon most Palmer voters fit into the "Up yours" category, people that were pissed off with both political parties at the last election. If they traditionally voted Liberal do you really think they would change from Palmer back to Abbott given what we have seen since the election? Hardly, although Big Clive hasn't done himself any favours with his Chinese comments.
Its hard to know how all this will end up, its clear Abbott/Hockey/Corman/Dutton/Pyne//Brandis/Morrison have no Plan B and with the budget cuts so universally unpopular with just about everyone in the country why would the cross bench senators cut a deal with the conservatives?
Hardly inspiring stuff with sensible policy (Carbon Pricing, NBN, Gonski, Disability Assistance) from the previous government under constant threat from these knuckleheads.
But its clear from that poll, people want another vote and EVEN MORE SO then after Gillard introduced carbon pricing. Gee, Abbott more unpopular than the Carbon Tax!
Floyd, what I am saying is that COALITION voters, not Palmer voters, want Palmer gone.... They would love to have power in the senate, like during one of Howards terms..... ATM, a good little conservative would be frustrated that Palmer is blocking policy..... They would love to win a DD...... They would believe in their own little reality that Shorten would get done over.... So they would support a DD.....
As far as Palmers comments go, Is China taking over by stealth? Well... There's no federal register of foreign land ownership....
His second point was that China has no justice system..... That's 2 out of 2.....
His third point was that China shoots it's own people..... That's 3 out of 3....
His fourth point was that Chinese business is run by a communist state... That's 4 out of 4.....
Love him or hate him, at least he calls a shovel a shovel...... And the climate change fraternity can't exactly turn on him and his buddy, Gore....... We could go back a few pages in Blind boys climate change thread where BB justifies Palmers and Gores tactic.....
Totally agree, floyd.... Was just saying a certain % of that poll are conservatives wanting a DD.... I personally know of a couple..... Not in the poll, just in general....
Even if 20% are conservative, and I'm being generous, that means 76% want Abbott gone..... That's still a flogging.....
But polls are all well and good.......
I wonder who's going to replace Dolly Shorten now that the whole sordid rape allegations are out in the open? Sure, he's been found not guilty but we all know his credibility is fucked, well more fucked than it already was.
Pibersec is a real vote winner, oh accept for the minor fact her husband is a convicted drug dealer. Maybe Kev might think about another comeback.
If this poll were in 'Financial Review' I bet the result would be much different. The Age doesn't necessarily appeal to right wingers.

Team Abbottcentric, if your not with him, you're the traitorous fucking enemy that MUST be put down.

Abbott has employed an army of 1300 spin doctors to troll social media sites and grocer is one of his loyal foot soldiers. Has grocer ever commented on this website about anything to do with surfing?
Is he even a surfer?
I doubt it.
YS, a couple of months ago, I was chatting with Mitchvg, Stu, BB, you etc... May have been in climate change thread about this very thing ( your accusation towards grocer)..... Most didn't quite "get it", you included.....I asked if bloggers were affiliated with a particular party, stating I was not.... You were brave enough to admit Labor participation.....
Your post re' 1300 paid trolls was/is exactly my point...... Taxes spent on health, unemployment - bad......
Taxes spent on trolls - good......
Yes, i remember
It been 13 pages on Abbott and it's getting tiresome and to be honest , a bit one sided .we all know his faults, why don't we turn our attention to Shorten for a minute. I seriously think he's history , and will be replaced sooner or later , who's it going to be? Who's going to lead the Labor Party back into waste and mismanagement.and relegate that prick Abbott to the annals of history.
Just on the subject of waste and mismanagement . Kurnell desal plant is costing the tax payer over half a million dollars a day while it sits idle with water catchments near 100% capacity . All thanks to the Labor Party.
.
Not denying it then grocer? The Libs and their backers have deep pockets and can afford to do this stuff on social media as well as manipulate the main stream media.
It would be amazing that the fact we taxpayers are paying for such a team of spin doctors escapes scrutiny from the MSM until you realise that the same corporations and individuals that own the big television and media organisations are the Coalitions biggest backers. Even the ABC is being kept in line by threats of funding cuts but are still being accused of left wing bias?
It's shouldn't surprise anyone how this all operates as the 1% are only looking after their interests.
In the recent South Australian state election the amount of media and money that was being poured into the Liberal Party's election campaign was staggering! I heard they spent $3 for every $1 Labor spent. This was obvious to anyone who drove the steets of Adelaide leading up to the election. The Libs had so many posters up and stalls at shopping centres pushing their cause.
Then there was a huge campaign by The Advertiser dragging up any old dirt that could be mustered to roll the 12 year old government, like sex offences by the father of Labor minister Chole Fox from years before.
When the Liberals failed to win the media went rampant!
New state Treasurer Tom Koutsontonis was smeared by the paper that he drove Taxi's and worked in a fish and chips shop to fund his university studies and was now controlling the states finances.
As if the fact he wasn't a silver spooner with wealthy parents that could afford to fund his studies showed he was unable to do the job of Treasurer?
The born to rule will always have the playing field skewed in their favour. Labor know this but continue to work within the system in the knowlege the the Conservative's will always overreach, as they have with the current budget, and the people will realise they are being fooled..............again!

"been 13 pages on Abbott"........
Well, yeah....... You get that under a thread called "Abbott"........
Start a thread called "Shorten", Grocer........ No one's stopping you...... I'll more than likely comment....
No-one got anything to say about the loss of the car industry under a government and high viz Tony that promised to create 1,000,000 jobs?
Slumber away ........
