Vaccinate or not

I was a little shocked at Alan Joyce (CEO Qantas) announcement that international travelers will be required to have a covid 19 vaccination in order to travel on Qantas flights . The government wanted to have mandatory vaccination but after the bumbling of its release ( it was painful to watch the delivery of that announcement ) they withdrew the mandatory part but it seems Qantas and other business may demand a vaccination in order to use their services. I’m not anti vaccine by any means I just don’t trust this government or a vaccine that has been rushed through. A jab followed by another jab followed by yearly jabs doesn’t sit well with me as I have never had a flu shot or the flu for more than 20 years. Plus I don’t want to give this shot to my healthy 4 year old daughter. She is up to date with all her vaccinations but this covid vaccine is new and not being around for decades like the others. Tuberculosis remains the number one as far diseases go and you don’t need proof of vaccination to travel so what is going on ?

Hey VicLocal just had a look at your response.
I think you don’t really understand the system of drug approval in this country.
The TGA receives submissions for drug approval from multiple sources, usually drug companies but some times from various government bodies.
The statement by the Dep of Health probably reflects the fact that the TGA has not approved it, the TGA itself being a government department. It’s kind of like a separation of powers, the TGA is a government department which can in theory reject a submission from the department of health.
So in actual fact, to be technically correct, the department of Health cannot declare a drug “approved”, that can only be done by the TGA.
The dep of Health can however say that they are not prepared to spend the time and money on a submission to the TGA because they do not believe there is enough evidence to have it approved.
It’s a complicated system and an easy mistake to make.
Czech Republic a westernised country? What is a westernised country anyway?

An Australian company has a new lung diagnostic test which has had FDA and TGA approval .

The Federal Government gave them a $30m grant to build a new scanner ( their existing product uses existing xray machines ) . The new scanner is needed for young babies . 1 in 10 babies born in the world are premature . Can do the test in 4 sec with very low radiation .

There is no test now for these little pumpkins and the company already has made a prototype with scanners available for hospitals in just over a year .

san Guine...thanx for sharing the National Mental Health Chart.
Tried a few obvious o/s Flight bans / lockdowns / Covid Peak patterns
Tried States on their own + Nation wide...here's a few takes that can work together.

Could be argued that...
Sound of mind are spooked by { Gold Pass } Destinations slipping from the Board...Fark! Dead Now!
The next react to media scare Campaign..."Be afraid! Now! Said Now Damn it!" > (2 weeks later!)
Most depressed are most fearful of what lies ahead...but none care to see that...misinformation!
One can read those stats in that manner...& it does seem to fit!

Findings show that Mental fatigue + Covid are both timetabled to Flu Season.
Not by number ... but by entrenched Seasonal Flu slipping under the radar thru Festive seasons.
We only see Covid Coz that's the only game in town...but Covid only ever sees Flu as the Bully.
Gotta understand...that depressed feel equally threatened by the flu or not. (Little difference...so wot?)
https://www.swellnet.com/comment/756812

Mid Nov >Xmas >NYE = (Depression) Exhaustion > Family-Crowds > Med' Flu-Higher Covid > Go away
Easter = (Depression) Exhaustion > Family -Crowds > High Flu-Higher Covid > Go away
Mid Winter = Flu Peak > Cold > ( Most depressive Health Conditions worsen any disability )

Pursuit of Oz Happiness
Back to School all settled > (Between Xmas -Easter Flu/Covid) Affords depressed some Solitude
Last week of June ( Falls between all Autumn < > Winter Flu < > Covid Spikes )
Aug - End of Winter Low Flu > No Crowds before Footy Finals > Wedding season.
Oct wk1 - (End of Footy / Wedding commitments / Crowds ) Between Spring < > Summer Flu seasons
All perfect times for depressed people to recoup their sanity...Wotz left of it!

The depressed always avoid - 1.Crowds > 2. Exhaustion 3. Winter Aches > 4. That Killer Virus thingy.
Most are already in a lifelong Lockdown & care least for an Expert Hesitant Lockdown Tag...Go For it!
Flu still dominates seasonal Virus, Covid doubles down on Holiday Crowds which depressed long avoid.

Depressed never leave the House...so any talk of Lockdown depression is just plain Mad...All know it!
Crew are clever to know that we depressed are disabled by new Digital Mandate...less so Vax or Iso.

Why should people be forced to have to carry a mobile phone wherever they go and be forced into a digital Id existence that only serves to make more billons of dollars for tech corporations. Aren’t they rich enough already ? I spoke early last year of the social credit system that is happening in China and impending surveillance in this country with digital Id using mobile ph apps and yet many brushed it off or gave it no serious thought , and now here we are.
People who were fighting the install of 5g towers were fighting against surveillance - facial recognition software and cameras that use 5G technology . Some did their own research because there was simply no transparency from govt. They all went up while people were in their first lockdowns. There has been continual lies, secrets and changing stories ever since this whole virus debacle began. Yet people who questioned have been called nutters . The desire to protect ones autonomy and freedom from a communist style of control seems actually very normal and sane if you ask me .

There was a few 1 day old questions that hadn’t been answered and 1 was a good question from a fellow called stu . There was also a YouTube podcast with him talking about the first ivermectin studies conducted by monash ( some people on here frown on you tube featuring Professor’s though . ) He has excellent communication and answers around vaccines though and answers heaps of questions, good stuff . Regardless of your political leanings, there’s no merit or honour in doubting whether Derek Chauvin committed murder. The jurisdiction in which he was tried was clear:

“To convict Chauvin on the second-degree murder charge, the jury needed to be convinced he unintentionally killed Mr Floyd while committing or trying to commit another crime — assault in the third degree.

“To convict him of third-degree murder, the jury had to believe he acted in an "eminently dangerous" way, with reckless disregard towards human life when he killed Mr Floyd.

The second-degree manslaughter charge required the jury to find he was culpably negligent in causing Mr Floyd's death.

As the jury believed each of the distinct charges were proved beyond a reasonable doubt, they were required to return guilty verdicts on all three counts.“ )

If you’re confused it’s all laid out in simple language here. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-04-21/derek-chauvin-murder-manslaugher-...

Back to the vaccinate or not topic...yes, vaccinate!
VicLocal, haven't heard back from you about disputing my take on what it means for a drug to be "approved" in this country.
And what about Czech Republic? Western country or not?
They authorised Ivermectin for emergency use in March with daily cases about 15000 and fully vaxxed rate at this point about 4%. By June 1st daily cases had dropped to about 100/day and fully vaxxed rate only about 15%.
Crazy eh?
Was this because of Ivermectin?? Who knows but as I've mentioned, we in Australia should be looking at what on earth the Czech Republic did to bring down case numbers so rapidly despite such a low vaccination rate.
As you can see by this link they had a decent lockdown for about a month then things reopened reasonably quickly. By June 8 schools reopened and groups of up to 500 were allowed.

"Hard to know isn't it?"
Of course it is, because there are multiple factors that impact case numbers.
That's why national drug agencies rely on multiple well constructed clinical trials to determine whether or not a drug gets approved for treatments.
I've said it before and I will say it again. At this point in time there is insufficient evidence proving Ivermectin is an effective drug in treating covid. Hence the lack of approval in Australia and most other western nations. You and I simply don't know why the Czech republic has approve off-label use of Ivermectin. And if there was evidence it played a role in decrease the number of new infections in that country, other governments would be changing their decisions.
There's two reason why I get frustrated with the Ivermectin champions. 1. The lack of evidence it's effective and 2. If people think it's an effective treatment they are less likely to do the right thing re social distancing. That has consequences for everyone.
People like Craig Kelly and Palmer are fucking dangerous. They are cynical political operators who simply don't care about the consequences of their political opportunism.
