and it appears transitioning athletes need to manage their ongoing testosterone injections so they don't get disqualified

much like many / any athletes now and anything performance enhancing, it's about juggling doses, levels, and timing as much as anything...

males also have stronger bone structure, mass, and a different muscular skeletal system generally

also advantages regarding lung capacity too

of course there are variations, and serena williams wouldn't just whip my arse in tennis, she'd probably whip my arse in all of the above, and probably beat me up too!

I guess in terms of khelif getting her arse whipped... it comes down to how proficient you are, how much you train, what stage of your career you in etc. ...the variables are endless... I'm sure you are aware how your surfing can go up and down depending on how much you are surfing / training and fluctuations in health generally...

bottom line is you have to draw a line somewhere, and the rules are somewhat arbitrary

and this is where the xx / xy thing is one of the few hard and fast variables that can be managed

unfortunately, it seems the throwing out of this variable is largely ideologically driven, as the 'identify' thinking has taken precedence

but interestingly, this variable may have been often unknown or unchallenged in the past, as it wasn't such an issue as now
