Best win so far this year and against the premiers and on their home turf, wasn't expecting that and by such a big margin, although to be fair to Brisbane they were coming off a 5 day break.
What i really like about this team is it's a real team effort, we arent relying on one or two players, especially our forward line and we also have quite a bit of depth (couple players that didn't play that are in our best 22) if we can stay relatively injury free, we can really manage players

Brisbane were smashed in all areas.
They got off lightly, De Goey from standing start close to the goal missed, as did McStay from 15m out, Jamie Elliot the same x2, Cox missed two from close set shots, Daicos also.
It could have been a 14 or 15 goal thrashing, but we will take the win regardless. AW

What, Mason Cox missed? No surprise there, a big waste of space. If we are talking baking, we need to compare apples with apples tho, I reckon Brisbane would be unhappy with their accuracy in front of goal too, it could easily have been much closer as well. Don't want your dough to go stale.....

Cox is finished, he’s past his use by date, normally very accurate close to goal. I dislike his pseudo aggressive tirades every time he marks, kicks or wins a free in front of goal and feels he has to wrestle or jostle with the opponents.

Unfair? Hardly, yeah a good win but was surprised there was only 2 frees difference at the end of the game. Proving it’s not the number but when and how you get them, first half was a umpire feast for the pies. And as for Diacos pretending to get a head high hit until he realised the umpires weren’t buying it, says alot as to the ones he gets but perhaps doesn’t deserve
Agree on the premiership's are not made in April it's a long season, but still im very happy with the win and where we are at right now, a much better start to the season than last year that was painful.
Yeah i agree I think Cox is done (although i have thought that before), it's strange how his kicking on goal has gone backward's he use to be one of, if not the most accurate in the team especially from the area's he has missed from of late.
Ive listened to his podcast a bit, he does come across at times as that loud cliche Seppo, but he is also still a real nice guy and it's just a feel good story.
Ha, no doubt some egregious decisions the Guy, but that's not why they won. The concept of equal numbers of free kicks is a bit puerile, I agree. Some teams push the boundaries, Brisbane are one of them. Anyways on much more concerning news, the Roos are playing Carlton back into form unfortunately.

Very unfortunate about Sam Draper and the achillies injury he sustained.
He’s going to be surely missed . He has a bit of a cult following amongst the young kids brigade, they love him.
