I bought the dip. I see Eric Trump pumping ETH this morning too.

The day after shows it was a good investment.

Watch what Trump insiders are buying. I’d also be buying BTC mainly.
Trump has signed an executive order to establish a sovereign wealth fund. You can basically guarantee they will hold BTC in that fund.
It will be mooning in no time.

I agree on Bitcoin. Volatile times ahead, I reckon I will start selling everything and just DCA into Bitcoin for awhile.

There is BTC and then there’s the rest.BTC is the only one worth putting my cash into.Bought more at the recent low 90’s.Still cheap to were it is going. It’s going all the way whilst the others wither and die.

Agree, everyone should be putting something into it. Even just $50 per week, it’s a small risk for a highly likely reward in a few years

Bitcoin heading south , anyone still buying ? https://www.forbes.com/sites/siladityaray/2025/02/28/bitcoin-slumps-belo...

got more today

I reckon we’ll see a much bigger crash. I’ll be buying more but there are so many buying opportunities in the market that it’s hard to pick. I’m talking share market as well.

Good story from back in 2021. Checked a month or two ago and large blocks of tethers still being created.

There's a bit of a pump in these last 2 days due to the digital asset summit at the White House on Friday. I'm curious to see where it goes. I'm very cautious as it might be another rug pull. But it might also boom a bit.

BTC seems to be following the traditional markets somewhat more closely these days so I’m not convinced we’ll break out above $100kUSD from any outputs from this crypto summit.
Trump will do his best to pump it mind you.

Yeah, I think you’re right. Sit and wait for now, I think this year will be a write off.

Is this the year for the world recession ? A few on here have been predicting a crash for the last few years, is this the year ? Surely Elon can make the world great again or is that world on Mars ?

I reckon that this is the year. Many things are overvalued and I feel that markets waited for a trigger which Trump delivered. The question is; who will crash and who will survive? My gut feel tells me that all will crash.

Thanks for replying flollo , I’m also a dummy in economics . Pulled my super out 2 years ago because I was afraid a crash was coming then .In 2008 saw old blokes going back to work after losing their super in the GFC , it was weird as I left indo after 6 months in 2007 with $500 , started work at a batching plant in PH then moved onto FIFO construction in 2008 on $2500 in the hand and was thinking, what recession ?

This article is quite rich with good info. In short, Germany is changing their constitution to borrow more money and increase the deficit, some estimates suggest that Trump’s tax cuts will have to be financed with a $4 trillion deficit (which is a big reason for the tariffs, forget about what you read in the news). Bonds are tanking as investors want more premium for the risk. ECB is cutting rates, meaning cheaper capital. Interest in Europe’s weapons shares is on par with crypto style euphoria. And it goes on and on. Unbelievable times.
Add the usual issues with tariffs, Macron threatening with nuclear weapons, Russians clearly saying that they consider peacemaker NATO boots in Ukraine as an act of war and you have a cocktail of destruction that can go anywhere.

The Bitcoin graph looks Interesting ! ?
