Spent a lot of time in Java and found them to be probably the friendliest people in Indo.
Love Bali and the Balinese but the Javanese have such a hospitable nature.
Cannot count the number of times invited into people's homes who had very little but would offer so much. On trains they would force feed you their own food and make conversation. Lovely gentle people.
Indo, my wife is also a Christian Indonesian, she never had any issues with muslims.
