In semi lockdown I'm finally sorting through a lifetime of photos and inspired by what Craig and Andy recently posted I thought why not.
We travel a fair bit and there has to be some crackers in the vaults.
Good if we follow the Swellnet tradition of not naming or being too obvious.

Well done blackers , @B6 , I came across 2 really big churches within a couple klms of each other and the Ark from your video was a little bit further up . When you look at their houses , then compare them to the money it would have cost to build these churches , it’s quite unbelievable. Unlike Bali , the roads are wide and everything is spread out with very large blocks of land . A very relaxed atmosphere with many old bule’s getting around, pretty friendly vibes in the water. Rain’s coming again .

Cheers AW. Right back at you for the images over in the botany thread. That Azolla shot is magical. Makes me want to head back up that way again, sooner rather than later.
And thanks to you Supa, your comment about the harvest moon made me get off my butt and shoot a few images. Would probably not have thought about it otherwise.

fig tree next time! excellent! snellings for a swim, george turner's castle is worth it, emu bay is obvious, vivonne will be actually good while you are there, KI gin is boring (especially their gin that is flavoured with weeds that tastes like weeds), as are the marron and even the birds (sorry AW), kingscote is astonishing (in the same was Oz is and people find it weird we are a kicking about down here), but, yeh, anything you can do to go west and have a play or think. as real as it gets! have the big fun!

Blackers. If you haven’t been before. Red Tailed Black Cockatoos fly east west both ways in a day, scoping out trees that bear large seeds.

Also, Stokes Bay Beach and the half a billion year old natural swimming pool at the beach, but not before the surprise to actually get to that beach from the car park, I won’t spoil it for you , just duck your head.
Safe travels and enjoy. AW

Seeds. Hi mate. Thanks, took the snaps while watching Rainbow Bee Eaters.
Moments earlier a White Bellied Sea Eagle and earlier today at Agnes Point, an Osprey. I hope you’re cruising.

Pretty hard to leave Agnes/1770, nice places.
Ive been out early 5,00am most days, have been in forests , national Parks, estuaries etc. Lots of good biodiversity and intact systems.
A local surfer took me to a few little secret spots just south of town, one in particular, very nice set up, swell coming Wednesday apparently.

Weather is awesome, bloody hot for Spring. I luv it. AW

You may even get a springs in your step down those steps if a few little waves roll in.

Find memories of Agnes and 1770. Got some fun waves on the point at Agnes and watched the Osprey hunting. Enjoy it AW. Thanks for suggestions.

You are very clever, it was sublime there at 6am, everything was good except for swell, odd half a footer rolled in with no wind and no surfers but you could see the potential. AW

I commenced driving into that park today in 4WD,, but the rutted sand was near impossible. Another day another trip in another car. AW
