Last year Jim Beam ran The Break, a competition to find two unsigned surfers – one male, one female – to follow the WQS tour for a year with all expenses paid.

To find out how it all unfolded tune into Fuel TV each Tuesday night for the next two weeks (tonight is episode 2). Fuel are running episodes where you will meet all the finalists and also the two winners. There's also plenty of surfing action.

Ash King and Teale Vanner combined to create one of the tightest rounds of Jim Beam’s The Break so far, with both blasting out of the blocks, wrestling for the upper hand. Unfortunately for us, we can only pick the one winner and by the time voting closed on Sunday Night Ash King reigned supreme. Congratulations Ash for your efforts and we look forward to seeing you at the finals.
