Best Days: Sunday morning, Monday, Tuesday

Recap

A kick in nice swell with cleaner conditions than expected yesterday morning. It was a fun 2-3ft, with today holding a similar size along with a light offshore wind.

This weekend and next week (Nov 7 - 13)

Currently we've got a broad, strong and elongated polar frontal system passing under us from the south-west and this will bring with it onshore winds from the W/SW tomorrow morning (fresh to strong) but a moderate sized increase in SW groundswell.

Clifton is likely to be a consistent 4ft, but with those onshore winds, easing into the afternoon a touch as winds swing more S/SW.

Sunday will be much cleaner with a light NW offshore, giving into afternoon S/SE sea breezes as the SW swell eased back from a still solid 3ft+.

The easing trend will be delated into the afternoon and Monday/Tuesday owing to the wagging tail of the frontal progression, with additional fetches of strong W'ly winds being generated in our swell window through the weekend.

Clifton should still see 3ft sets Monday morning, easing into the afternoon and dropping from 2ft Tuesday, tiny Wednesday.

Winds will be favourable but shift more north-east with a N tending strong E/NE breeze Monday, strong N/NE tending E/NE through Tuesday, similar Wednesday but with possibly even a bit more strength.

Longer term there's still nothing major on the cards so make the most of the coming swell. Have a great weekend!
