Fading swell and then average
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Wednesday 27th May)
Best Days: No great days
Recap
A fun and clean E/SE swell yesterday, easing back from a small 2ft or so this morning.
This week and weekend (May 28 - 31)
The current E'ly energy will continue to fade tomorrow, possibly 1ft to occasionally 2ft but tiny into Friday. Conditions will be clean across northern corners and open beaches with a NW tending W/NW breeze.
The weekend's N'ly windswell for Sunday is on track, with a burst of less than favourably aligned though elongated fetch of N/NW winds due to develop into Saturday evening.
A small and very acute N'ly windswell is due to 2ft across north facing beaches Sunday morning, tiny into the afternoon and with unfavourable NW winds.
Longer term the outlook remains poor with some possible new S'ly swell due mid-late next week as the Southern Ocean fires up under the state, but more on this Friday.
