Make the most of Tuesday morning
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Monday 9th July)
Best Days: Tuesday morning south swell magnets
Recap
It's great to be back after my sojourn around the Basque Country, if you get a chance it's more than worth a trip.
Tiny waves Saturday and early Sunday ahead of an increase in new S'ly swell through the afternoon, best this morning with offshore winds and good clean lines of S'ly swell.

The frontal system responsible for later yesterday and today's S'ly swell has pushed off to the east and away from our swell window, resulting in a drop in size through tomorrow, tiny into Wednesday.
Hit the south swell magnets tomorrow for easing 3ft sets under an all day offshore W/NW breeze.
Unfortunately there isn't much on the cards for the rest of the week across our region with a possible small pulse of S'ly swell Thursday afternoon to 1-2ft at south magnets from a weak and poorly structured polar front passing under us tomorrow evening.
This will be variable weak sea breezes after morning offshores and very flukey.
Into the weekend, a slightly better though still flukey pulse of inconsistent long-period S'ly groundswell is likely across south magnets Saturday morning.
This will be produced by the final stages of a strong though weakening polar low in our swell window through Thursday, with a fetch of W'ly gales generated just in our swell window.
Size wise we're only expecting small 2ft sets across south magnets under a W'ly tending NE breeze. I'd have low expectations for this swell though.
Longer term there's some better developments possible for early next week from a Tasman Low forming off New Zealand. Some good E'lu swell may be seen, but more on this Wednesday.
