Good winds and fun swells for the South Coast over the coming period. A larger swell is due early next week but with lots of wind.

Great winds and good swells varying in size over the coming period, strongest tomorrow.
A vigorous front will pass south of the state overnight, renewing gusty SW winds across the region - though they’ll ease steadily into the afternoon.
Saturday looks to be post-frontal in the wake of Friday night’s change, whilst Sunday morning will see generally light variable winds as another front approaches from the south, bringing moderate W/SW winds into the afternoon.
Freshening NW winds and temporarily small surf at Victor on Thursday morning will precede a gusty SW change during the day, associated with the first in a series of strong fronts push across the region, tied in with an amplifying Long Wave Trough.
Sunday is still looking very good across the region, as winds become swing NW in the morning, freshening through the day.
We’ve got favourable conditions on tap for both coasts for the rest of the week.
Early indications are for another strong long period groundswell to arrive this weekend originating from the tail end of the current storm sequence in the Southern Indian Ocean, between Madagascar and Heard Island.
Warm weather but fading surf tomorrow with a small new west swell for Sunday. Larger swells but tricky winds next week.
Plenty of swell on the way after bottoming out tomorrow morning. Favourable winds will create plenty of opportunities as well.
