The South Coast will offer the best waves this period with winds from the north-western quadrant and tons of south-west swell.

Onshore winds will create bumpy conditions for most of the weekend, but with plenty of swell, much cleaner and sizey into early/mid next week.
There'll be a drop in size across the Mid Coast with plenty of size for the South Coast with generally favourable winds.

We’ve still got a great weekend of waves on the cards thanks to regionally light to moderate NE winds which will favour both the Mid and South Coasts.
However, there's usually something brewing on the upwards flank of any block, and in this case we have a significant cut-off low forecast to move through the Bight on Wednesday and Thursday.
It's a real shame too as there's a decent groundswell inbound
Today’s gusty onshore wind is expected to rapidly ease into Thursday, so surface conditions should improve quite a bit.
Friday’s late frontal system will be associated with a deep, slow moving low sitting at much lower latitudes than those systems influencing the region over the coming days.
