Aaron Curnow is the founder and owner of Spunk Records. With artists such as Mogwai, Sufjan Stevens and Arcade Fire in his stable, Curnow has his finger on the musical pulse. He's also fairly proficient on a surfboard, Stanwell Park, near Wollongong, being his home beach.

Curnow's latest venture is Sea Notes, an alternative music/surf store stocking clothes by Deus, Summerteeth (Dane Reynolds) and Art Park, new and used vinyl and CD's, posters and a bunch of second hand boards (Michael Mackie, Neal Purchase, Terry Fitzgerald, Andrew Kidman etc).

They have instores coming up from Seeker Lover Keeper, the Middle East and this weekend Simon Anderson is signing copies of his book, Thrust, at Sea Notes.

The store is open weekends and is located at 111 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Stanwell Park.
