Watch: Kyron Rathbone // The Garden
"4am, a boat ramp in Tasmania."
If you've watched any of Kyron's past videos you know he can take a place like Shippies, which is more often associated with chest-beating and 1000-yard stares, and make it appear joyous and fun. This vid continues in the same vein.
A pre-dawn photo experiment gives way to full-frontal action as Kyron edges ever so close to Ground Zero, with a cast of surfers weaving the steps - notable rides from Tyler HX and Tim Ashworth - and all set to the pulse-lowering tunes of Dusty Rusty.
Highly recommended viewing.

That is the best Shippies video I have seen, all the different angles and close ups and the scenery make for great viewing.
Great vid. Epic sounds. Dusty Rusty's a real talent.
wow booties even summer
Cool clip
Was the water warmer than usual ?
All of the above and yeah Stu that was good enjoyed seeing more of the setting the ending was a plus.
So good! Bonython: take notes
Agree! Such a great, poetic even, film. Plenty of reality checks in the form of unmade waves to show the viewer it isn't all glory. Beautiful sound track, calm accompaniment to natures raw power. BTW, those boats are too close
I was waiting for the goofy footers, then they appeared and got rolled. Not a wave I would want to ride on my backhand.
nice work kyrone !! epic clip
Epic vid! Especially loved the drone shot at about the 6 minute mark - you can see why the wave is so ledgey!
Awesome tunes! Dusty Rusty - great pipes!
